This video is every bow hunter’s dream. And now, it’s not just loaded away in your memory bank… it is documented for you and all us JELLY bow hunters to enjoy as well. May many more middle TN giants fall to your draw. Blessings brother.
Dude, what great videos you produce. At the 4:08 mark… I got so excited. I thought, “ This is going to happen.” I loved every second of the video. Subscribed. 👍🏻
Glad you enjoyed it man! I’m ate up with chasing these critters and just started playing my around with video and editing to capture my memories. I love watching others content so started sharing mine as well. Check out my latest video from this past season. My biggest buck to date had a crazy reaction to a lung shot. Some controversial opinions on whether or not I should have included all of it in the video or edited it out. Let me know your thoughts
Your big kill with the crazy “stick around and shoot me again” attitude was incredible. Very few videos show the real life action, but yours is as real as it gets. I for one totally appreciate it. My first ever bow kill, many years ago, was a double. Three does walked in and I pinned the first one literally to the ground. Then I had my wits enough about me to grab another arrow. The two others had stopped at 30 yards and I could see the vitals of one. I shot it also. This was on a WMA in Chattanooga that no longer exists. So that first doe, the one I pinned to the ground, she took like 10 minutes to die. Also, she was directly under my tree. I was too absent minded, never once thinking to put another arrow in her. I suffered watching her suffer. Plus, I was shaking so bad from adrenaline I wondered if I’d ever calm down. That first one is amazing. Afterwards, when I was more clearly thinking, I thought “Why didn’t I shoot her again???” This double kill hunt is permanently engraved in my gray matter but I would have LOVED to have it in video. Enjoy your treasures, both on the wall and the big screen. 👍🏼
@@keiththornton7202 that’s awesome! I doubled up on a set of does once before and memories starting to fade is what drove me to start filming. Glad you enjoyed it man. Best of luck in the upcoming season!
Super cool man. I am new to the bow game with one doe kill under my belt. Really digging into scouting deep into public ground, and the saddle seems the best way to do it. Realistically, what could be my max height with 2 sticks (both with aiders)?
With 2 sticks and 3 step aiders you can prob get the top of your second stick to about 13-15 feet. But I don’t really recommend it because coming down with aiders is cumbersome at best and dangerous at worst. Especially in the dark. You should consider 1-sticking and rappelling down. It seems more difficult than it is. It’s super efficient and light weight. You can climb as high as you want, are always tethered to the tree, and rappelling down is a breeze.
Incredible setup and video work. Magnificent buck. Congrats!
Glad you enjoyed it and appreciate the comment!
Good video, nice shot, great Tennessee buck.
Thanks, Robert. Glad you enjoyed it!
