The pouch was designed for those who need it. I've used it for years now... It has all my tech bits, then placed neatly in my PD 20LTR bag.... For a job with tech... Hard drive, cables, pens, powerbank, SD cards, usb port, note book, and so many other useful things... All neatly in their specific pockets. It's brilliant ... If any one wants an army grade pouch for cheaper, get one, no ones stopping them, that doesn't make the PD pouch any less brilliant.
For Leica M photographers this is perfect. I added two PD anchors to the loops on the back and added a strap. In the pouch I carry two to three m lenses, spare battery, filters, and the visoflex. It's actually the perfect size.
I ordered mine 5 minutes ago ! I am so excited as I have loads of small and large camera equipment lying around and I want a place to store all of that! Let's see !
I got it and was super excited. I traveled with it once and put my items and my partners items in it. The funny thing is I have never used it since because I have really paired down a lot of my travel gear. I think it is just a bit too bulky. I would like it better if it did not have have much small storage spots. I actually am starting to pack for a trip and thought I would try it..... packed it up put it in my bag and pulled it out. I am looking for another solution. I am starting to think it is best to have two smaller bags.
I was considering cutting out some of the central interior dividers to make more room - I’ve done that before with other bags like the Moment Tech Organiser, and it was a big improvement. Sometimes you just don’t need twenty pockets…
Peak Design, along with Think Tank, seem to be two of the best brands for protecting equipment in soft cases, when the hard case protection of Pelican or SKB is too much for one reason or another. I have several PD Tech Pouch V2, though I agree that it is unnecessary for some uses. In addition to the weight, it also doesn't collapse when mostly empty like some less protective tech pouches. The PD works well for things like card readers, port hubs, flash triggers, etc. I do also prefer it for batteries, instead of a pouch like what you use for cables, because sometimes I want to protect other stuff from the batteries, especially when the whole case is getting taken in and out of vehicles.
Think tank is fire and I have had some of there products for almost 10 years. Peak designs still doesn't make great camera bags but they do make great EDC+a camera gear

@@Carl-Camera that is a great idea and I have never thought of that. I am going to have a loo at doing this.

@@MitchellMillennial I agree, I have zero interest in a Peak Design camera bag. Their camera cubes and EDC work well for me.
Peak Design bags are really Chicky .
Yes they are
What wait, you are not living in Vietnam anymore?

I disagree its well made and extremely easy to organize. 😊
Ok
Ok
Overpriced!! Specially if it’s coming from china.
Good thing it comes from Vietnam
iPhone comes from China, too.
I feel like there’s this one factory in Vietnam that makes all bags for Peak Design, Bellroy, Rushfaster, Moment…
