My sister and I look like our father and our brother looks like our mom. I’ve got a son that looks like me and a son that looks like my husband. My sister has a daughter that looks like her and a daughter that looks like her husband. So weird how that works
Everyone is unique though. Treating them as equals by ignoring individual needs does not work. It may be the quiet life in buying stuff for them and giving in, but it doesn’t work I’m afraid.
I did like that they asked what each child would want in their future house to please everyone. Such as own rooms for the oldest and play/ sound proof room for the kids who know they make a lot of noise.
Having property the kids can roam around in, not worry about being quiet, a place to have your animals will be great! Best to get an architect to draw up plans, engineer to look at structural then get all the costs. Darn good thing you have a camper!
The time the renovation will take for the barn home 4000 square foot, and the money will be huge. Also, the bigger the yard the more time it takes to mow the grass. You need a new home that is already built for the family. Your home now is awesome. Newer is not always better.
Sorry, I live in the USA 🇺🇸 and we have wide open spaces. I have been looking at renovations in France of homes, and they take their toll emotionally. I hope that did not come across negatively. Of course if they renovate there will be plenty of show content.
Here's food for thought though…a few years ago we owned an apartment in an old mansion house. bought it for £52K. Lived there for 3 years and then put it up for sale. The estate agent valued it at £65K. We put it on the market for £97K. The first person that viewed it bought it for the asking price. I can't explain it but we felt it was worth much more than the price given by the estate agent. We were prepared to be knocked down in price and couldn't believe it when we were offered the asking price. Remember they give you a 'guideline' that's not set in stone.
Subscribed, i would definitely recommend this channel to everyone i know. So full of love, amazing family. Hope you all always in good health. God Bless
If someone wants to move then you have to cut back on holidays and new cars. Same for anyone thinking about their future. Thinking how much you can realise from the sale of property and business but also accepting that you still have to live. Accepting that one cannot always afford what you ideally want is difficult. Happens to everyone at some point.
Could you imagine people coming inside your gate into the front yard taking pictures it’s unbelievable what people wont do for a picture its great that their moving to a larger house into the country God i couldn’t imagine having the rich life that they have it’s remarkable and very special ❤️🥰💙💟🕉️☸️🌺☮️🌻🌹🌸🍀😍🌈🌈☔️☔️🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🦘🦘🦘🙏🙏
Could you buy the whole house you live in now ? You could knock out walls . You would have a really large lounge. kitchen, and dinning room . A laundry on both of the house, a playroom. a teen room, office , anything you want and everyone who wants a bedroom. You would also have a huge garden . Stay there still more are grown and you could buy a smaller place in the country. Gail D.
If I were you I would not buy that barn...It would take a massive amount of money to turn that into a home..I would either buy an existing house or buy some land and have a house built. Good luck to you all in this endeavor 🙂

Do you really want the stress of kids and windows not arriving when they should or nails going up in price from last year? The build taking longer than planned to be done because of xxxx. What if in the middle of it all one of you develops cancer or has a mild stroke how do you mentally cope with piles of kids and a build and work?? I'm so happy for you. My mom lives out in the country, and I'm in town after I got married and I must say, I miss it. I love visiting there, its relaxing.
I'm happy for them as well But it all depends on the place you grow up. I grew up in a village next to a big city and a 10 minutes car ride from the beach I feel lost in the country side if I stay there for a longer period Special in winter time. I need the beach near by and the city to live in.
I know all about falling in love with houses, but them being gone, and also losing out on offers! 😥😥😥 I'm also sorry that your current house isn't worth more. 😟😟😟 As I've had to remind myself when I've sold and bought houses, the right one will come along eventually!!! I was shocked that their house was under 4,000 sq ft. I thought it was really big. The garden seems small but they make the most of it with a bar and swimming hot tub, play equipment and 5 dogs. Maybe Sue is right and they should move to Florida.
How the hell can they afford health insurance for the 18 children still at home and themselves. We’re would he set up a bakery !. Never in a million years could they afford the USA.
@@Diamondmine212 It seems you know the answer as you said th they couldn't do it in USA. Great Britain has national health insurance. They also make money from their tv shows and youtube.

what might be easier is buying the house next door as seen on 7:43 to the right, knocking it down, and making that your bigger yard lol. I think JK Rowling did something that that in England, bought a house just to tear it down and extend her garden. funny how it could even be the same cost of moving.

Your idea of bliss can often be their idea of complete boredom. With 5 children of my own, I’ve never been more glad that they can get on a bus or walk to the train station by themselves.
In a few years the teens get their licenses and then their own cars. It all works and they can usually get part time work at neighbouring farms and businesses. Our 9 all did. And they make their own fun. The country has a lot to offer too you know.
I am surprised at that valuation, we live not far from your location, and our 4 bed semi was valued at £480k, no garage, not a big garden either. I'd get another valuation because that sized house in that area, with very limited stock of similar size houses in the area would suggest it should attract a higher price. I know the house and the area, £425K is way too low, especially with all the work that's been done on it. Try a different agent.
Those parents look like they’re in their early 60’s. Child birth has worn that woman out. I do wish them the best. And I hope her health continues to be good. She’s worn her body out and pushed it to the limits.
I would of thought that house was worth at least $100,000 thousand more than the quote they gave them. Wow total under value. Sue would make a great person to help women in those situations.
It would be cheaper to buy a house to put the older children in and they can pay rent.
I can’t believe y’all have 22 kids and five grandkids Yeah, y’all look young to be grandparents I understand. Sophie had her first at 18. I am 18 right now. I can’t believe Millie got pregnant at 18 and gave birth at 19.
That house would sale for 3-4 times that in the U S!
