    What a wonderful performance. Thank you. I always love hearing Martina sing and now I'll look out for Bryan's performances as well. Superb alto solo, and the arrangement knocks me out. I've never heard this tune put to a Latin beat before (sort of surprised I haven't), and the blend of the flute ensemble with flugelhorns and that bass clarinet with those harmonies were so delicious. Brava!

    What a fabulous arrangement!!It’s like a remodel and an upgrade of the old song. I have been following Martina DaSilva and she’s awesome! Bryan Carter’s voice is golden. Alexa Tarantino is such a very talented musician. Everyone made it look too easy to do this hard but gorgeous song..I bet the recording was fun! Congratulations to Steven Feifke for a brilliant arrangement.

    I like the band, but the singing was a waste of a besautiful song with its lyrics. Too overdone with no respect to the grammar of the lyrics.

    Hey! Listen up everybody - awesome performances all the way around - love Martina and Alexa - band is tight and swingin’ - superb arrangement Steven - but the guy who blows me away every time I watch these vids is Mr Bryan Carter - he is a kick ass drummer and brings the best energy and makes all the featured performers tune their game up - but he sings like a freakin angel, too!?!? Unreal! A mega talented person, what a joy and to a long and bountiful future- Bravo, Bryan!!

    You cannot deny talent & these people have it in abundance. The singers, musicians came together to deliver 1 of the finest renditions of that song, that I have ever heard.
    Talent like that never dies. I have played this sooo many times & it just gets better each time.👍👍👍

    I've listened to this rendition so many times....have even gone back to review other ballad duets, but the sound and delivery of their vocals is now my favorite....the entire song is done with care, but the vocals at 4:40 and again at 7:00 are simply the best I've ever heard. Thank you and I hope there are more ballad collaborations. 🙏❤🎶

    another great arrangement Steven! It was great meeting Alexa out here in Santa Barbara! My flute playing partner wants to know what model alto flute Alexa plays! And we are having a blast playing "It Could Happen to You"! Ill send you a recording after the concert next week. Keep the videos coming!

    When Jane Monheit`s version if this tune came out years ago I really liked it, but this version is something else! I have seriously listened to jazz for 67 years and am so glad to have found Veronica Swift. She just might be the best jazz female singer ever.

    Competent, but it says nothing to me the way a jazz version of this song does (for instance Archie Shepp). I hear no new interpretation, only easy embellishments. It's like gluten-free bread - does not have that lovely chewy texture of the real thing. but I understand if you have allergies.

    • @tyrmorris8155
      @tyrmorris8155 7 месяцев назад

      I wish you had cited a better rendition of the song, referencing Shepp in disparaging another version of the song undermines the credibility of your opinion. His vocal histrionics and a pedestrian solo do NOT make for a great jazz song, no matter how much you were affected by his cover.
