She needs that power to take down scum of the earth like her "friend" who lied about a disease that MANY are suffering with to this day. Cancer doesn't just affect the victim, it affects the family, the friends, the relatives. It's an emotionally draining time wondering whether you'll live to see another day without pain, or if some point the disease will become too much for your body to handle until it withers slowly. This is horrible. You should never EVER lie about having ANY disease. People are struggling every day, some of which are given lifespans by their doctors. As a member of society who is looking into going into medicine, this breaks my heart and honestly makes me sick to my core. I hope the lier gets the appropriate consequences for her actions.

This woman is Sarah Delashmit and she also
lied about having muscular dystrophy. She attended a camp for people with disabilities and used a wheelchair and had help bathing, dressing and even changing her tampons. She did horse riding therapy. She’d developed a bond with the staff there and a little girl who was also in a wheelchair who claimed she wanted to be like Sarah when she grew up as Sarah apparently had a really positive attitude and was inspiring others.
Eventually, someone rang the camp and tipped them off that Sarah was faking everything. When confronted Sarah simply stood up and walked out the door (see Keyser Söze losing his limp at the end of Usual Suspects).
She was convicted of multiple counts of fraud and pretending to be a breast cancer survivor and sentenced to 18 months in prison.

Lost my grandmother to breast cancer. I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. Will never understand people who lie about having it. Cancer is absolutely devastating. It broke my heart when my grandpa went through Chemo. He’s been cancer free for 7 years and I thank God everyday. This chick is nuts.

I was raised by my great aunt and uncle and my uncle was diagnosed with lung cancer. I was too young to really realize what was going on and nobody explained it to me. When I got older it really hit me that he could have died without me really knowing why and that just breaks my heart.

And as she says "sorry" she shrugs her shoulders with no emotion in her face, and callous disregard and almost annoyance in her voice. She is unbelievable

I had an ex who kept saying he had cancer when I’d try to leave. He never had cancer. But he would keep saying it, manipulating me, making me feel sorry for him when I’d try to leave. He also lied about having been in the military and never was. Watching this video reminded me of him. I don’t understand why people lie and make stuff up like that.

I am 15 years old and I was diagnosed with testicular cancer during january and I had to get one of my testicles removed and then another surgery to get my lymph nodes removed just incase if it spreads through it. The fact that this woman lies about having cancer is just disgusting. She has no idea how it feels to have your family cry into your shoulder and worry about you every day and how it feels to wonder if one day you are going to die soon it is such a painful experience and thank god that I spotted the tumor very early and I am now cancer free.

Just went through this. My recent ex convinced most of us he had two different types of cancer, but is a pathological liar. I just found out when he was 17 or 18 he tried to convince everyone he had a brain tumor. It is be yond sociopathic behavior. I never saw this episode, did it ever come out that she was on drugs of any kind?
U know that feigning symptoms can be an illness in itself right? U shouldn't call someone a sociopath bc of it. If his main goal was to appear sick and assume the sick role then he was sick with a condition called factitious disorder. I have a friend who has it since she copies every symptom I have but I never called her a sociopath bc I study psychology and know that this is a cry for help and a serious thing.
