Roger is literally me just getting thrown in sweat lobbies. They definitely turned up sbmm or just less normal people are playing.
@@jakefox3677 Domino effect. All the ranked players abandoned ranked for pubs. The casuals get tired of getting smoked by 3 stacking elites and stop playing as much. You end up in a lobby filled with nothing but high skill players.

I’ve seen the rev and lifeline in this video many times during the day when I play and I play with my cousins who are on Xbox and I’m on pc (just switched) and only have a 1.7 kd 🥲

When the game that matches casual players with players that have more kills than you have damage, you know something is fucked up

Either I’m playing the sweatiest pubs, bots in mix tape, or rats in rank - season 17 in a nut shell
All the sweats have already hit Master's a long time ago so they got bored and started playing pubs
Only people grinding ranked are rats tryna hit their dream rank and they rat to do it
The casual (worse) community got bored of the rats in ranked and moved to mixtape
Hope controller players now understand how nuts the input is at close range. In the first half everyone was using controller and not missing a shot. MnK once you strafe up close, muscles tense up trying to track them under pressure, you still have recoil, controller it's just a smooth transition as you track. I play both, both have their advantages but it's very hard to beat a competent controller player up close, you'll lose most of the time to an smg.
They know and they dont care ,funny how they still will scream hacker the most though or panic like they spilled water on the desk when they "get no aim assist"
I’m on console even with this so called .6 aim assist if I’m up close I miss every shot but medium is easier and far is easy then everyone runs smg
@@bonekill6782 I believe this is 2 reasons(typical reasons). Input delay(TV biggest bottleneck) and you don't know optimal settings. Do controller players find it odd that PC Professionals can just say at the highest level I am just going to up and switch my unput to something I've never done? That's like being an NBA player who already shoots well deciding to change his shooting form knowing his livelyhood depends on it.

the stick drift actually kind of makes things easier sometimes you get just kinda float around the stick without applying too much pressure
For aim assist to work you need to make any kinds of input, moving your aim or moving your character. Stick drift counts as moving your aim thereby making you have aim assist all the time. It does make things easier.
I didn’t realize this was a problem for a lot of people. The last week had been INSANE. I’ve ran into the number 1 ballistic, number 1 vantage and another top 5 player on a legend I can’t recall.. that’s not to mention the vast 10k, 20k, 50k kill banners I’ve seen in most games. It’s been brutal
@@iiTzXDXDXD I'm pretty much new to the game and it's pretty much impossible to learn with lobbies looking like this. I'm not going to act like I'm good, but every other lobby results in a first-encounter wipe from some player with great movement and perfect aim.

I do get this argument, I can't say anything about Ps and Xbox or PC controller users, I only use it for my 6 year old switch that struggles to maintain 480p and 30fps.
@@danakanam5 TBH the switch shouldn't even be running the game in the first place, they made some serious compromises just to have it on that platform.
@@Divinity_vA The only Notable ones from the first game were the stacked team that ended up winning, when he was saying this most of the players he said it about were all controller players.

Truth. I don't get games like this down at my skill level. If anything my matches have been super chill lately.
Exactly. Once you're able to win games no-fill and consistently clutch 3v1s, you belong in the tougher lobbies.

3:51 that Kraber shot I swear shot 2-3 bullets at once. Call me crazy but I think I saw multiple shots come out when that lifeline tried to shoot his target.

i just find it interesting that players like these guys just play the game so differently. its hard to explain
The micro difference is crazy to me, it's hard to notice but they do so many small things to help them move faster and aim better
they play the game all day long together, by now they sweat together as a unit lol no casual mode anymore on apex legends

been rough for me as well. think all the noobs are in ranked still, and its been steadily getting sweatier throughout the szn as the more experienced players stop playing ranked. im guessing thats why at least

Haven't played apex in 5 months first game triple master squad. Then got killed by a different master/pred squad. 10/10 would not recommend
They reverse boost to get high kds, is really easy to trick matchmaking

Little info on Roger's controller stick drift, that drift was actually very tame. Even on my brand new Elite Controller on PC, if I played on no deadzone, stick drift was equal or worse than what we've seen with Roger.
I'm kinda new to this deadzone and console stuff but I do use 0 deadzone my question is , does it damage the controller?
I only have some 300 hours on apex, and it's really the only game that has made me hone my skills for such competitive environment and gameplay. However, I can't say I improve very fast because I never get very far in matches. It's rare for me and my team to survive the first team we fight, unless I have a top player with me. I want so badly to be able to practice skills and improve my mechanics and other skills in game outside the training range, but there's literally no room for that. You're never evenly matched with anyone, the only advantage you ever get is third partying RIGHT after a fight when everyone hasn't healed yet. Not to mention, everybody loves the brawling play style of "fight and take from others instead of looting". To someone like myself, and I consider myself casual, this seems shallow. There's a ton to do in the game and explore, but all ever happens in the hotdrop zones is that constant warzone. Maybe it's because gaming is so popular these days, and kids are so well versed and have already trained their flexible minds to be better than older generations like mine (which is weird to say because I'm not even of legal drinking age). But most games that I see, people immediately play it in the most optimal way. There's hardly any discovery, and everyone immediately shoots up close to the top of skill ceilings. That's the only way I can justify in my mind why my casual gaming experience is so bitter these days. Everybody just grows into having natural mechanics and skills, or carries them over from other games.
I've even tried stuff like AimLabs to improve, but it's not super engaging like an actual game. It feels like going to college just to be able to do something.
The whole thing is rather demoralizing.
Apex is one of the games that takes a really long time to improve on. I've been casually playing for the past 3 years and I think I'm around 1200 hours across all my accounts. Still got lots to improve. Still no 20 bomb, no 4k badge. But I've hit Masters every season since season 7 - and I'm pretty happy with my median 8.4% win-rate across the past 10 seasons.
Ping every enemy, take every opportunity to do damage without over extending or wide-swinging, and try to treat a 3v2/3v1 as a 3v3.
Just play controller bro, that will fix a lot of problems
I feel you, man. Same situation as you, still pretty young as well. I feel a lot of how you do not just with Apex, but with another game I really used to enjoy, FIFA. I won't get into why as explaining would involve a bunch of terms people who don't know football won't care about but most of what you're saying applies. Funnily enough, the only games where I feel I'm allowed to improve at my own casual pace is, surprisingly enough, fighting games. Particularly, Guilty Gear Strive and Dragon Ball Fighterz. But even then, your point of people taking all that knowledge from different games to reach high skill in seemingly unattainable amounts of time remains true. I haven't played Apex seriously in almost 2 years and even when I did, with the high amount of time I spent on the game, I was still nowhere near anything remotely resembling competitive. I just had more fun at the time.
I know as gamers we are in awe of their skills and dedication to get as good as they are. But I do hope they are doing ok irl because you're going to have to sacrifice something to get that good.
But if I want to play and don't like real life is it problem?

Yeaahhh, I logged into the game the first time since season 4 I guess (when Revenant got released) and I got in a match with a 5k damage, 20 bomb wraith, 10000 kills
I get into a trios game, then my team members immediately leave as soon as we leave the drop ship.
I recently got killed by a loba with the r301 at level 101 and 30k kills on the r3. Just 2 days ago I got the first trial for the havoc which is my fav weapon...
Can confirm, Roger is not a 50 year old man with kids. He is your typical apex sweat who needs to touch some grass.
I had a weird lobby today, level 300, level 500, all acted dumb and gave me my first 4k 20 bomb. Either that or some eldritch god awoke in me.
Happens to me sometimes too. Makes me wanna ask my teammates if they notice it also, that we're fighting people who are like bots it's weird

The daily lobbies i get but its crazy how i get teammates that are basically starters.
Noticed this about a week ago, even tdm modes. Mostly masters and pred badges, everyone tap strafing, wall bouncing, beaming.
Much less fun :(

Im a wattson main with 20k kills on xbox and most of my pubs i be with atleast 10k kill people but now im with actual sweats with 40k+ 😂
How much do you play that you have that many kills I don't even think I have 5k kills across all legends and I've been playing since day 1

3 years in, this is what most day 1 players look like im gonna be honest including myself, i mean we have had 3 years. ive been enjoying pubs this season. i dont play much ranked but still enjoy a challenge and the heated fights. i understand we are trying to keep this game fresh and new but pretty much every BR gets to this stage years after its out , or they fill it with bots. i know what i prefer.

As someone who’s been playing Apex since season 0 I don’t see stuff like this as impressive anymore. I see it as depression…
Anytime I have good teammates, we win. but it takes up to 50 games before that happens. Respawn should look into match making and audio. Those are the problem I see in this game and not just the updates they are rolling out.

I agree on the matchmaking... I'm actually a very sucky to average player who started playing fps a year ago and don't get to play often so the struggle is real... I honestly don't feel it's fair when I get placed with predators just to destroy their game with my uselessness. I get they probably want a mix so teams are somewhat 'equal' but they're not. I wish there was a server where they just threw useless people like me so I can not die automatically 😂... Could maybe learn how to play a bit more 😅

iMHO Happens every new season start. Match making is crazy and my starting KD for the season is abysmal until a few days in and I’m matched more fairly.
had a friend who play like that Battlefield Play 4 Free, he had 10 years old computer and old optic mouse, and he had K/D over 10, one day he got new computer and laser mouse, every server he joined was K/D 30 was normal for him and he got banned a lot. his response time was godlike.

I see less aim and more aim assist.
But I do see good relative recoil control.
Although recoil on playstation has a different feel of magnitude than Xbox.

It’s only spawn die spawn die spawn die for me an after 10-20 matches I get finally some kills but only by camping if I push everyone kills me in 000000000,1 seconds with crack movements and the banner says like 4500 wins and 40.000 kills
This feels like my lobbies, but I am a S16 high plat-low diamond player. They keep nerfing SMGs as if those are the problem but like everyone in this video was controller...

Its definitely sweat the last few days i have 15k total kills across all legends and I've been running into players with 50k 80k kills on one legend i seen a lifeline with 98k kills and almost 10k wins all the sweaty badges 10 am this morning

Have been in these lobby’s for a while now. I don’t belong there at all. I’m getting constantly dunked on and have lowered my seasonal k/d with over point five 😢

My lobbies are always like this, have been for years, and I don't really know why. I'm not a good player at all I have a really low K/D and have a hard time even winning 1v1s. My partner is worse off than me but when we play together we get put in pred lobbies...it's really unfair. I feel like I'm being punished whenever I play with them or a friend.
