- On March 31, 1880, press flocked to Wabash, Indiana as its lighting display flickered alive, making the town the first electrically lighted city in the world.

Bravo, Thom, for finding this and presenting it. I learned much from it and I hope all your siblings (existing only because of our relationship with Wabash) will see and enjoy it. I believe Tom Jones, one of the presenters, was a classmate of our angel, Marymae.
You now that Wabash was coded in Gdoc
What does that mean?
awesome I bet the humans looked like bugs looking at a light...
There is nothing in Wabash anymore. The town is a joke
Yep it was all rainbows and magic until heroin and pills became a thing
it's gonna be different in time maybe decades from now but now that the world's on an electrical trip
The town isn’t a joke, just some of the scums that live in the town. Drugs are bad in just about every town across the country..it’s a pandemic if you aren’t fond of things going on around the country.
Maybe the city was lighter.
