I love watching your videos and I love electric unicycles. I've been driving for about 1 month, I bought a V14 50S. It has a lot of weight. You make nice videos. Well thank you.
Mike, the soft part (24:13) will not fall down as you don't need to fully detach both strips. Double D ring system designed you just loosen it till round clip and remove the helmet moving the strap forward with your fingers. There are many videos about that. It's very convenient system... ;)
i have this helmet in red, which is why im still waiting for that red performance hoody. lol the whistling in that helmet can be stopped with just a bit of a fabric filter over the ear hole areas
Thanks Gilliam! I will do some fiddling and see how it goes. I rejected the red performance for various reasons and I am currently testing the wine red version. I am really liking it so far!
The helmet looks great Mike! It looks like it fits better than your other one. May just be the design, but I like it! Your Lazyrolling gear also looks incredible. I need some of that in my life before winter here! Thanks for sharing! 👊👍
Thanks Harold! Yeah it fits nicely and it does not look as big as the other one. I am super happy with the look of the riding outfit. I love the dark green style!
hi mister mike, i didn't understood what you said , what about soundproofing ? can you ride without noise when helmet is closed ? when there is wind.. ✌
Hi, this helmet is simply noisy. Maybe I can do some more fiddling with mods but as it is... I can't hear much especially at high speed. At 31mph / 50kmh I can't hear my personal speaker which is right there next to me.
They have a spray from Amazon which also eliminates water buildup on your Shield the water just beads up and rolls off and that way you don't have to worry about water buildup on your face shield also as I mentioned they have a anti fog spray that you spray on the inside of your face shield and it will eliminate the fog totally it lasts up to four rides and then you reapply I hope that helps because it's cool to see you finally practicing Total Safety we want you to stay safe
Which style of helmet be better for the winter? I do ebiking and live in canada, winters can get cold, but usually cycle up to -10 celcius. With wind chill it be higher.
I have yet to try the TSG in that kind of cold. I am a bit worried that it might fog up... but I will definitely find out soon! We are down to +8C here now with some nights getting as cold as +1C lol!
I have to wash after sweating in my Pass helmet, otherwise I'll get big zits on my neck. The wind noise is weird, but you can stop it by covering the holes near your ears, and there's a rattly tag somewhere I can't find. But I love the way it looks. The anonymity is a big plus in this town.
Thanks! I tried covering the vents yesterday but there is still some whistling going on. I will see what more I can do. This is a pretty cold country so I will rarely have to worry about sweating and it will probably be nice to ride in the winter as well. I am not a huge fan of the anonymity nor being closed off from people but I will at least have the option now.
@@BellaFinch Same! Tried covering the vents on the inside.. still annoying whistle sound. Noisy especially at high speed. The faster I go the more deaf I become lol.
@@isthereanyfood Im not sure why more people dont bring this issue up when it comes to this helmet, its super popular and widely used but I hadn't heard anything about the whistling noise before I got it
You could try a silky fabric attached to the front part of the helmet lining to stop drag on skin or hair or like some elbow pad strips that grip to skin when on bare arms just at forehead level not everywhere just to stop helmet lift when raising visor . For wind noise if caused by around visor window draught excluder neoprene type works well and does not look cock n bodge !
A TSG is not really a big motorcycle helmet. Nope, I did not fall nor come close to falling... just figured I would have the helmet for some posing, photos, social media, etc.
Just preparing for winter, for testing more experimental wheels and also for some posing for some Lazyrolling photos. Kind of a double standard to work at Lazyrolling and say ride protected and then ride with just wind reducing earmuffs. Haha MASH was a great series!
Send it back and get a nolan n40-5 gt helmet, I was debating whether to get a tsg or predator a couple months ago but ultimately settled on the Nolan and couldn't be happier, just as cool looking, around the same price, much better safety ratings, zero wind whistling, and huge pinlock ready visor that's got an even better field of view than even a tsg pass!
I don't mind having several helmets but I have always wanted a TSG. You know when you look at something a hundred times and say naw it's too expensive or bla bla reasons. Cheaper to just get one and use all that time thinking about to make money instead haha. I will check out the Nolan. Thanks!
@@eucrider297 Not at all, you soon get used to the extra weight once your neck muscles adjust, just like your legs do when riding a heavier euc... I have the lightest full face you can buy in the IXS trigger fullface helmet which weights around 500g and also a couple of moto helmets and it certainly doesn't 'destroy the pleasure of riding' whether I wear the no helmet, the IXS or a moto helmet.. If anything, the moto helmets help me enjoy the ride more because I don't have cold wind blasting me in the face
Mine is the firwood color which I thought would be more brown than green but I am totally happy with it. The fatigue green I believe is the 2021 version which I was also eyeing last year! Just like you I had been wanting and wanting and wanting... spent so much time looking at this helmet lol. Great that you bought it and hope you enjoy the hell out of it!
Nice, I’ve been kinda wanting to get a TSG myself. I have a Ruroc at the moment with the Bluetooth addon for music which has been good for those higher speeds. Is there an option for something like that on the TSG?
Hi Michael. Hmm I don't know! It's a very nice helmet though and I appreciate the wide field of view. The Ruroc + goggles is quite narrow and limiting!
If a helmet is a bit loose or feels like it needs padding in a certain place... get some of those lady pads and peel and stick them inside the helmet under the liner to make it fit your head better... I suppose you could put a tampon in each ear... that would fix the noise haha
Lol! I will try covering those vents instead. The helmet does come with a bit of extra padding that can be used for the cheeks.. but I am happy with the fit. Have tried the medium before.
You have to be careful not to fall off your wheel into the bush on the side of the path... no one will be able to find you haha. Get some tape and temporarily stick it on any holes/vents/gaps on the helmet to find out where the whistling is coming from.. when you find it, see if you can cover whatever hole is making the whistling (tape on the inside of the shell if you can locate the culprit)... my guess would be the vent on the side behind your ears... do they open and close?
@@ratmanmurray7137 Thanks man! I am super happy with the color. Yeah it's those vents on the sides. I will put something on the inside and see how it goes!
It's crazy man you seem to find everything wrong with that cool helmet it's like a lady who wears flat shoes or sandals but then when she goes to 3 in high heels it feels very uncomfortable but boy does she look better LOL give it a chance you learn to love it
Haha yeah I would just like it if I could hear when riding. I did try it with some wind reducing earplugs and they worked quite nicely without making me entirely deaf to my environment. I will see about finding a way to get rid of the wind noise. Sure it looks good and all.. and I mainly bought it for photo shoots and posing and stuff like that. It is also very convenient to take on and off and the visor is great.
