- पूरे अफ्रीका में लॉबीइंग करने वाले, परोपकारी और व्यवसायी जीन संवर्धित ऑर्गेनिज्म GMO के लिए अफ्रीका का इस्तेमाल करना चाहते हैं. वे कहते हैं कि जीएमओ अफ्रीका की दो सबसे बड़ी दिक्कतें ठीक कर सकता है: सूखा और मलेरिया.
इसमें हिस्सा लेने वाले लोगो में से एक हैं बिल गेट्स, जो दुनिया के सबसे अमीर लोगों में शुमार हैं और इतिहास के सबसे ताकतवर परोपकारी संस्था के संस्थापक हैं. यह फिल्म दिखाती है कि कैसे बिल एंड मेलिंडा गेट्स फाउंडेशन अफ्रीका में चल रहे आनुवंशिक प्रयोगों के सबसे बड़े दानदाता बने.
मलेरिया के इलाज में वैज्ञानिक कसावा के पौधों और मच्छरों के आनुवंशिक संशोधन पर चुपचाप काम कर रहे हैं.
यहां यूरोपीय संघ की भूमिका भी संदिग्ध है, जबकि शुरुआत में स्वास्थ्य और पर्यावरण को होने वाले खतरों को लेकर वह जेनेटिक इंजीनियरिंग को लेकर पसोपेश में था. अब यूरोपीय संघ माइक्रोसॉफ्ट के संस्थापक के साथ मिलकर ऐसे गैर-लाभकारी प्रयोगों पर काम कर रहा है, जिनपर यूरोप में प्रतिबंध है.
अफ्रीका में आनुवंशिक संशोधन ताकतवर बनने के साथ-साथ पैसा कमाने को लेकर भी है. यही बात बिल ऐंड मेलिंडा गेट्स फाउंडेशन पर शक करने की भरपूर वजह देती है. अफ्रीका में जेनेटिक इंजीनियरिंग प्रयोगों में पैसा लगाकर यह संस्था बड़े पश्चिमी व्यवसाय के हाथों खेल रही है.
मानवीय सहायता में नफा-नुकसान का कड़वा स्वाद मिला हुआ है. अकाल कार्यक्रम अक्सर फसल और जीवों के जीन संवर्धन का कार्यक्रम शुरू करने का बहाना हैं और समाज का पैसा सिर्फ कुछ ही लोगों के हित में काम आ रहा है.

What is bad effect of genetic modification in foods to the human being and how could be able to prevent hunger in future among the people can any body explain. However ever these bravery journalism is to be saluted.
They have no scientific reason behind their hatred for GMO crops. The fear is that it if GMO crops are allowed at a large scale, then they will wipe out the native varieties from practice as they would be more profitable for farmers. The biggest negative is that GMO crops are copyrighted by a few large corporations that will make farmers dependent on them for seeds. Agricultural production, too, shall come in control of large capitalist corporations.
Thanks for clarification, but second paragraph is more satisfying, but you can see the white revolution in India were the farmers in this field are much satisfied and the people of our country are also getting fresh milk.
