Thank you! Is this something you are trying to achieve in TradingView alone? The method shown in the video is worth a try since you can go and grab the alert body from any other alert and copy it easily into a new alert. There are no plans for Discord currently.

You should be able to use as many different webhooks as necessary as long as they respect the limits Telegram has set which are typically very high. It is not necessary to open Telegram once everything is set up, since everything is web based, the alerts should be going through.

I do not know if there is too much of a lag sorry. You will need to try it and do some comparisons. From the comparisons I've done, there is a small delay with TradingView but unless you are doing very fast trading, this is not much of a problem. All web based software is subject to higher latency.

What I did was use input.text_area in the script, and then in the indicator inputs, I entered in the json message. The problem I am having now, is that the message in Telegram does not have the exchange, ticker, time, or price data. Instead it just says {{exchange}} {{ticker}} {{close}} etc. But when I use the 'price crossover' everything works fine. So its not a total fix. But it is sending the messages to Telegram using an alert(message, freq) function call within pinescript.

The problem is there is no message field for the alert() method in Trading View UI, so you can't enter the json message. You can use the alertcondition(condition, title) function instead. Here is an example. bool trigger_Alert = false if Trigger_Alert_Condition == true trigger_Alert := true alertcondition(trigger_Alert, "Custom Alert") Then in the Trading View UI, you select the alert ( "Custom Alert" in this case ), then, you should see a message field to input the Json file. Of coarse replace 'Tigger_Alert_Condition' with you codes logic.
It is not possible to debug exactly what went wrong using TradingView Web Hook method, what is normally the problem is a syntax error in the message body. If you copy the message body examples provided in the web page in the video description, they should work and that can provide a starting point.
The examples are shown in the video, and they have been tested to work. As long as you copy and paste the text exactly as it was provided, you should be ok.
If you do not get the choice to configure the message body as shown in this video then the method will not work either way. Telegram Bot API requires a message body.
You will need to pass in your custom text into the "text" field of the json body, assuming sendMessage is being used. View the provided examples to get an idea of how this works.
At this time I am not sure of this since I do not use TradingView as my main software for trading. If I ever study into it I will come back to this video and let you know.

Yes it should be unlimited but if you start spamming like 20-30 alerts per second Telegram might ignore a few. core.telegram.org/bots/faq#:~:text=If%20you%27re%20sending%20bulk,minute%20to%20the%20same%20group. TradingView is using CURL on their server side and they do not specify anywhere that there are limits in their info for webhooks: www.tradingview.com/support/solutions/43000529348-about-webhooks/

It is not natively supported to do this on TradingView however it should exist out there.

Can I use Telegram Channel?
It is mentioned in the doc that this method was only tested with private chats and groups. You will need to try it with a channel and see.

Can Telegram bots actually trade anything? Or is this just for sending other people signals?
It is just for the purpose of sending alerts. Bots can trade, this would require some additional thought.
