Saw them in Zurich Dynamo underground. 50 people max we were in there, 2m distance from the band. No change in their stage presence - just awesome. Somehow these "close and personal" live shows are the ones you remember the best.

Disappointed honestly. I am glad I listened to this recording before seeing them live and expecting a performance that comes close to the album. Especially with the lengths of the screams, Gaerea was able to tear a part from my soul and I could forget myself in their music. That won‘t happen live, with screams hacked off and so much space inbetween vocals.
Finally!! I thought I was the only person on this planet which (or who? I forgot how to speak English right now 😅) feels that way. I just can't with his vocals. The instrumentalists are incredible though. Saw them live last summer in a small venue. Was really looking forward to it and I just couldn't get into it because of his voice/vocals (fortunately the other three bands before gaerea were amazing too) and too much "talking". Like in this video. Yeah I get it you trying to animate the crowd but I think gaerea would do just fine with performing the songs. Let the music speak for itself. I think - and that may be just me - he's kinda killing the atmosphere with talking to the crowd.
Here's a thought... just an idea people....the masses will align for just an example. The tour would be called "The Masked Mascerade tour featured : Sleep Token, GROZA,Mgla,Uada,and Gaerea 🤘🤘🤘🤘

In fact, the vocalist you can hear live last year is not the same one who recorded the albums!! The current vocalist who I really like is the former guitarist and founder of the band. You will be able to listen to the new album that has already been recorded but is not yet available with the current singer.
Their former vocalist Ruben is imo so much better than this one. This singer have been since last year. He started to sing and play guitar and then went over to only vocals.

Yepp me too. The new vocalist isnt even close to their former vocalist. It doesnt even seem like he sing the same lyrics.
