My heart goes out to you all on the loss of Loki. A truly tough decision, but the correct one. It is hard to say goodbye to any of our animal friends, but it is our responsibility to always do what is right for them. Your family are filled with compassion and caring for the animals in your care. Loki had many adventures that I am sure other dogs would be envious of. Take care
Sorry to hear about Loki. I had to have a dog put down for aggression 5 years ago, sometimes there is no other choice.
While it hurts so much to lose a pet, know that you give them a blessed life and you honor them by giving another animal the same wonderful life❤

You are a proper ower of livestock. Putting anything down is hard but it shows love and respect for the animal. I had to do the same thing. You did the right thing.
Loki, buddy 😢 sorry to hear about the issue & tough decision. From my experience more like an misunderstanding & not all of his fault. However I understand being in a zero choice on the subject. You'll know if your ment to have another pup if its placed in your lap by the universe.
Jasper is sure sprouting up and he certainly is comfortable on board a horse. I imagine he will be a top hand there on The PDR in just a few years.

Nice video with beautiful scenery and critters. Sorry to hear about your dog. I rescued 2 young adult German Shepherds off a busy farm to market Rd. They had no chips, were not trained on anything. I had them fixed right away . The male is almost 100#, the female about 60#. They turned out ok after a year.

I'm sorry about Loki, as someone who works with dogs, putting a dog down for behavioral issues is always hard, don't second guess your decision. Don't give up for the future though, it's just hard right now to work through the feelings. What is Mr. Brooks interested in?😉

This type of thing can be extremely overwhelming for the owner because they are the ones who need to be at peace with their decision. It does take time. @@michelsupply4012

Geeze Danielle, I'm so sorry to hear about Loki 😢 that's really a tough deal and a very hard decision to make. But I absolutely think you guys made the right decision. what Brooks was doing with the babies is so good for them and him, really handy if you have game young people, those horses will be so far ahead of the others, sorry to hear about Loki, I too have no tolerance for aggressive dogs especially with kids around.

Here you are again!! Hi, I am SO happy to see your video's again!! Sadly I have to go in the hospital when they have a place free. My Skip is being worked from an amazing horse- woman and a very good friend. God must sent her to me in these days. I was so worried what to do with him if it geht's serious. It is ok, as my boy was young, we had to give away a dog, too bc he bit my son in the neck where his vene fun's. Thank God we found a good place for him but I really get it. My dog died in my arms with 10 year's and since than I never had one again.
If I am not serious sick, pls remember me- I would give everything to learn from you all but especially from Hands in, best whishes from Austria 🙋♀️❤️❤️🇦🇹🐎🐎

Wasn't there don't know what happened but I had a dog who won't let a person near me or my X Husband and bit the person. Found out later the person wasn't the kind of person we thought they were. So sad to hear that Loki has gone to the Rainbow Bridge. We will always have special places in our hearts for the dogs in our lives, and I know they wait for us at the Rainbow Bridge. I know well the pain of losing em but can’t imagine life without a dog by my side. I hope the pain doesnt keep you from the joy of DAWG. It is one of the good things in life.

Oh I'm so sorry about Loki, but it was better to do that than chance another aggressive behavior incident. Maybe you should try another breed like a Border Collie or one like Amry Palmer's Milo. These types of dogs are herding types. Milo herds cattle when they do their branding of their calves. Border Collies are smart and do a good job at herding and they are easy to train as is Milo. I can't imagine you without a dog. While I like German Shepherds, I know they can be aggressive. My sister has one and he weighs 90 lbs and he always barks at me like he's going to bite but I just put my hand on his head or pat his back and he stops barking. She also has a 150 lb Great Dane who is just the sweetest dog. They lost one Great Dane that was almost 13 years old and another one had to be put down because he had bloat and was in excruciating pain. We've discussed it before and she agreed that she could never be without a dog or dogs. She has them cremated and put into boxes which she then puts on her credenza in her room. So they are with her forever. At any rate, you have to do what's in your own heart. Love your new horses and can't wait to see their journey. Take care and the best to you and yours, as always!

So sorry to hear this, it’s hard to do but you can’t have one aggressive it can get you into trouble really fast, our dog we’d had for 7 years decided to to attack a highway patrolman’s wife they lived next door to us. She told us not to do it but isaid next time it could be a child so I made to make the hard decision. I respect what you done and hope and pray someday you find that perfect puppy.
So sorry about having to put Loki down. It was a complete shock to learn that he has gone! If you reconsider getting a dog may I recommend a breed of dog that you will simply enjoy working with? The breed of dog is called a "Border Collie?" Boder Collies come with Long or short hair and are born animal herders and will learn quickly. They love working with hearing cows or horses and they never ever turn aggressive.

I agree, they need a border out there. I have a half border half blue heeler and mmmaaannn this girl wants to work. She doesn't care what we're doing, she wants in. And absolutely gaga over livestock. And they come right out of the box like this, which I did not know lol. I always thought it required training. 😂 but idk if it's the heeler in her, I have to watch her aggression too. Very stranger shy and protective, but more so in the home and rig than being out and about. She guards my bedroom and truck mostly. But goes to say, most dog breeds have the need to do their Job of protecting. Poor Loki 😢 that's awful situation

So sorry about Loki. Please think about another dog in the future. Sometimes it is a certain ‘line’ in a breed, that should be bred out. Most shepherds, if handled properly right from birth are great dogs.
I agree , I had only one out of 5 german shepherds that had a mean streak and I was fortunate to be able to keep her and others out of harms way
We like to take our tiny dog places. I just dont like the way people rush him thinking he's a puppy because he will get perturbed. People need common sense with other people's animals, not saying that's what happened with Loki but it's what disrespectful people do. A little common sense around animals will go a long way.
