Protoss cheese is honestly one of the most frustrating things for beginner Terran to deal with. If Arty who's been playing for 20+ years gets this tilted by cannon cheese, imagine a noob starting out.
I think its the other way around.. having more experience with it and against it, would make you feel if anything a lot more frustrated than if you are just a noob who couldn't know better... Arty is even more triggered cause he knows damn well at this point in time he should not lose to a cannon rush ever, let alone not scouting the opponent building two gates outside his base.. He knows he has no one to blame, which is why he blames the races instead.
If cheese is a "trash/cheap/garbage...whatever" tactic wouldnt it make arty worse for losing to it? In fact he scouted the proxy gates that game and yet couldnt defend it, so it was more of his poor play rather than opponent's play. It's irony when he does the proxy rax in TvZ or bunker rush in TvP and he says it's a perfect tactic instead of the same "trash cheese" when it's protoss.
Trust me, it is even harder for Protoss to deal with terrans that just make 2 factories and attack with mines and siege. You can get to 1900 just by doing this every game.
Instead of machine shop and wait for tank, he could have built 2 vultures and won, he was just a few seconds before the replacement supply depot was built.
Yeah, build vultures, kill the probe in your base and then go directly for his mineral line. But he could've survived with the siege tank as well, if he had just continued repairing the bunker and gotten the tank behind it. Also he had marines in his bunker not doing anything when his supply got killed and then later he let low hp marines just die when they could've been switched out the full hp marines in hus bunker. And look at that scv 3:03, it got the gas and is just about to leave it and he sends it away and it dies anyway and he sends one gas scv to the minerals and delates that gas. That's 16 gas, the repair cost for terran is 1/3 so that's almost half the tanks hp he could've repaired. He isn't just not controlling his units, he is actively making it worse.

It was over the moment he chose not to focus the pylon down with a few scvs. So many poor choices in a row. Chooses not to block the ramp but not good enough decision/micro to actually counter a rush. Doesn't make sim city enough to cover himself. For some reason builds his second depot behind mineral line instead of blocking it to protect it. Chooses to go tanks and never make more than what 6 marines? Whereas his opponent made 6 zealots + 3 cannons, to his factory and useless tank, which does no damage vs zealots.
I've noticed that most of the time in these clips where Artosis dies to cheese rush, it's because he doesn't block the ramp and thinks sim city will save him, but messes up the sim city. In this case his depot behind minerals was picked off and he also built his factory unnecessarily forward and got punished.
that is kind of a bad spot for the Factory in this situation but at the same time i totally understand the logic for the placement because its literally right next to the Bunker and is making a tighter pathway coming up into his mineral line from the south. honestly, i think the bigger mistake out of everything was trying to continue to play a normal game. he needed advantages right then and now, but was still trying to tech up by making a factory. 50 seconds + 25 for machine shop + 50 for siege mode tech before anything useful was coming out of that Factory. that is A LOT of time to stall for when there are cannons and zealots in your mineral line. 50 seconds for an academy + 63 for U-238 is much faster and helps against the cannons (although still outranged by 1), while also allowing for Medic tech to heal the precious few units he has from Zealot attacks, keeping them alive longer and potentially being able to snowball. pivoting is a vital and important skill to have in a situation like this. pivoting to _something, anything_ is almost always better than trying to continue to play a normal game. even just going Vultures instead of tank tech would have been orders of magnitude better even though the cannons would easily zone them out and kill them all. i dont know if an academy is exactly the right thing to pivot to, but, again, pivoting to anything is usually better than nothing.

@Renzo Alarcón the case at hand and the fact is he DID NOT keep his depot alive, and DID NOT hold easily. Therefore Artosis not good. Protoss good (at zealot rushing). Protoss wins. Artosis salty. Artosis no defense, no supply depot proper positioning
@Renzo Alarcón 1 tank in seige mode vs 5 zealots wouldn't have done anything. It would get a shot off and that's it. He focused on getting rid of the cannons rather than the zealots that were killing everything. He prioritized getting seige mode rather than units out. Having the upgrade w/o the unit did nothing. As he didn't even have the factory built by the time he lost the depot. 2 vultures would've destroyed the zealots, as micro'd well never get hit by a zealot once.
no matter how bad he played, he would have still probably won if he managed to save the bunker and the tank. I bet P had no tech at all. He also did a terrible mistake in not chasing the first zea which had about 10 hp left

Should have landed the factory in a safer position further away from cannons, maybe top of the base. Then make a second bunker there to protect it from zealots, would have also served as protecting to losing SCV's at the top from zealot pressure. That factory at the cannons was doomed from the start, he would have never gotten the siege upgrade.
@Renzo Alarcón there was no "letting" this supply depot die, Arty had, like, 4 Marines. 4 Marines are not going to stop 4 Zealots from killing anything ever. his wrong choice was a factory, period. even if he wasnt supply blocked and could build vultures, there were cannons that were going to start being built any second now.
MMR is not reflective of "skill level" alone. It's calculated by wins and losses over time. If Artosis won more games, his MMR would be higher. It's a simple fact, which is probably why it enrages him: simple tricks can beat him even though he puts so much stock and effort into long "honorable" games, which are only ever worth the same MMR boost as quick wins. He's choosing the "honorable" path and being punished for it. Imagine if he put the energy of rage at every cheese into learning how to stop those cheeses dead in their tracks, rather than getting angry and dismissive.
Literally had to just block the ramp and this wouldn't have worked. Barracks can be moved so its not a permanent wall either. 2 depots + barracks full blocks it, bunker behind. No probe gets in zealots can't damage depots fast enough. Tech up and win.
@@max_955 I know they have short range. My point at 1:34 2 rines attacking 5 zealots only managed to kill 1. while having 3 idle rines sitting in the bunker. with 2.5 more damage he could of kill 1 to 2 more zealots or at least push them away earlier.
Arty should pull at least 5 or 6 scvs to block the entrance no sooner than he find the 2 gates, and pursue the probe with one scv. He had only 10 seconds to do that. To have more chance, it is better to block the first zealot with the scouting scv(but arty was typing that time and basically did nothing useful...)

Why isn't he controlling the marines in the bunker the whole time? there were many opportunities he could take them out,shoot zealots and get back in when in danger. Opponent controls all his zealots.
Have you seen Uthermal defend against cannon rush?Do you see him sweat at all? He laughs, comments, drink a coffee and sleeps a bit while defending a cannon rush with 6 scv-s.
