Just got this vest. Super good i use it to go off the back of sugarbowl. I do lake runs and asi runs. Great way to carry all my gear and still be able to rip hard
Wonder about no hydration option, and what bottles might work in this. Also your snowboard it right on your back - haven't seen one video of it in use - imagine much more likely to strike your legs... Considering fox tac$175, ogio flight $250, or this $480nz. Normal retail 2x the highly regarded ogio which has hydrapak compact but no ski carry.
This vest could be improved with a isolated sleeve for camelback ;-) and what about to make a more likewise backpack style? would be easier to store gear. And honestly... impossible to take it to splitboarding... how can you store : probe, shovel, splitboard crampon, poles, skins, water, snacks???... a bit to small... and expensive for those lacks. Bring us a more advanced slack vest ;-)
@@behindthelineclimbing7578 dude... how can you do that? splitboarding pack is basically : skins, probe, shovel, extra layers (puff jacket, extra gloves, googles) emergency kit (safety+repair), crampons (I you're bootpacking could need ice crampons & ice axe), food, hydratation... Dude... no way to pack all this stuff in it. And I know well this vest. The vest is more a daily easy lift access backcountry. Definitely not good for spltboarding imo.

Design is just like the 2014 Dakine BC vest - sweet vest I have used for years..
What a great Idea, Any chance you can make a lightweight version for resort riders
dude... honestly.. it's just for resort riding and lift access backcountry, no way to use it for spltbarding. But it's light though.
Need to design in additional straps for skis. Odd this wasn't considered.

Hey guys : is it possible to put a waterbag and his pipe in the slack vest? Thanks

I’ve taken this split boarding and have had space for all of these things.

@@franceiroca I saw a place for probe… is there a place for pole storage?
@@DirtAlert aside yes but storage is sooooo little... honestly... The Dakine RAS Vest is way better imo
