Very, very, very good and informational video. I've been planning on restarting from the beginning for a while and now with this guide it might well be a possibility 👀
best guide / challenge I have come across to date (04\12\2021) I made it to the end with no deaths but I have played the game before which helped it was a challenge and I enjoyed it so thanks man
Ngl, the 5 mile bike ride was brutal for me and took a LONG time, it’s been a lot of fun and it’s been scary af but I really appreciate the video, I was struggling in the beginning of the game doing it all solo.
This was amazing! The nostalgia!! I remember loading in the first time and being scared, not know what to expect. I remember picking fights right out the gate and dieing alot back in the good old days when you could loot like 60 adrenaline shots in an hour lol. i loved this video and this game!! great job man!
My dude I made it lol. It was fun and challenging. This is my first time playing this game and this really helped. I started following the path around main mission 3. I'll definitely do this again when I start a new character. Thanks man and great job.
Yep, this would be a good guide to redo because of all the changes in the game. My friends and I have been playing for about 3 weeks and it's truly criminal how underrated this game is. Some of the best enemy A.I. I've seen in any game and I've been playing games since the days of 5 1/4" 360 floppy disks lol.
My dude thank you for the great start...I ended up picking up a side mission along the way netted me a 4 crown rocket launcher Also so this video was super helpful thank you!!
My Dude! Made it all the way through, n dang that was intense. You sprinted your way through, I snuck my way through. Lot slower, but also so scary. Especially when I snuck past the tank to get to the lighthouse, by crawling through the ditch. There were times when it got so close I could of touched it, n had to resist bolting it. Now time to go back to the first church, n do all these quests I skipped
something i would like to point out is theres a side mission you can find before you even reach the church not sure where but it takes you to the bjorknas homestead and inside is a 2 crown hunting rifle thats guarded by a tick its only a fraction less damage then the easter egg rifle tenebris shows but has a much better handling it was the best weapon i could ask for early game for my more stealth sniping play style and thought i would share in the hopes of someone else seeing this and helping them early game
MY DUDE THANK YOU. You and your vids should have wayyyy more exposure than this. Bought the game last year ,didn't think to play it till today and you just made it better.
I've just bought this game on PS store for 12 quid. It's well worth it for the money. I'd definitely recommend. Thank you for the video, trying to follow your route now
What a magnificent walk through! ZERO DEATHS!!! Being used to tarkov, this shit is right up my alley! Almost died way too many times, so had to go back to the starting area to farm med kits 🤣🤣 Would have never, ever made it without this vid tho. 10/10 mah dude.
Hey. Thanks very much for the Guide. It's, unfortunately, somewhat out of date due to the stuff that's been put into the mid to later part of the game. I kept running into Lynx robots in the later part of it which I could not deal with at all, and made the later portion unbelievably frustrating. I literally spent the last couple of hours just crawling prone, as otherwise they just saw me, and I was dead. Going over Stenmeraverge to the last safehouse, in particular, now takes you through a military base with Lynx's all over it. I had to go around the hill instead after getting swarmed, and only made it to the last safehouse after Lynx's were distracted into a fight with some Hunters. It was, honestly, not very fun at all. I would advise people using the guide today to stick to the riverbanks as much as possible in the later part of it once you have passed Osteron. Be prepared to go prone immediately if you see the alert thing pop up already yellow. All the guns are still where you said they were though, but getting to them now requires much more circling around than you did. Some notable moments included the Hunter on the bridge, that you described as "An easy hunter kill," Well ya, it would have been if I could have gotten that damn car to blow up. After wasting ammo on it, I said screw it and attacked the hunter itself, and as I was dodging around the cars popping up to take shots, I had that lovely moment of turning around and seeing a SECOND Hunter behind me with a big grin on its face. Picture me then running screaming into the woods with 2 hunters on my ass. I only burned a single Adrenaline shot on that fight though as I basically shot and ran for the next tree or rock and repeat while dropping explosive tanks to blow up. And missing them. :D Another was biking through the forest on "the Journey" and meeting the lovely sight of 2 groups of 5 hunters, 2 Tanks and only God knows how many Runners, all in a spread out group walking along the road. I got my ass tuned into an omelette. I got through it on my second try by zig-zagging with lots of prayer, and then ditching the bike after the fact when it got too slow going through the trees and running for a safehouse that popped up on my HUD. That was actually kinda fun in a masochistic kinda way. The part after I got the 5 Crown P50 in the lighthouse I handled a different way than you did. I actually snuck in to get the gun without dealing with the runners, but I then got out my hunting rifle and Tried sniping them, thinking if I died I could at least pop back to the safehouse. That's when I accidentality discovered the joy of hitting them in the Gas tank on top. I literally didn't take a single shot from them as I shot them all from prone and then crawled away as they came over to see what happened and lost interest, and I cleared them out. Best moment in the run for me. Anyway, just some stories from my run. Thanks very much for the guide, and I'm still loving this game despite those hours of frustration with those sodding Lynx's. I still haven't managed to kill a tank though. :( Well technically I have but It was a Rival and I burned through nearly all my rockets and ammo doing it so I guess I need to figure out a better way :) Have a great day and thanks for reading.
My dude!! 3years later and I made it with no deaths, quite a few close calls, and I only changed one thing, instead of using the pedal bicycle, I used the moped you find in one of the early safe houses and used that for the 5 mile stretch. This is also my first time playing, only have 3 ish hours in after doing this
New player here. Your guides are awesome. Hey subbed for all your detail work here. I will go through other generation zero videos and let you know if I still have any queries or doubt. Thank you
Cheers Gallo my dude! If i can be of any further assistance just post a comment up and im pretty good at getting back to them :D thank you very much for subscribing! 🙏
Another one I think would be better to add is, start where you leave to go get the magnum. Instead head north over the hill and through the marsh avoiding enemies. I didnt run into any but could happen. Then the grey dock at the top left is a safe house, just north of borgakulan camp. After that head due east, there are 3 crates you can see from the safehouse dock. In one is a car with a 4 crown rocket launcher. There is also a weapon crate with a good chance to give you a good weapon accessory. It is part of a quest from the area, side mission to just go see what is in the crates. Not a big lose for the weapon. You'll start finding more rockets once you have it as well. Then from the same safe house follow the shore east till you see a boat on beach. Has recipe for electro rocket ammo. Then you can back track to the magnum, which is a great gun.
I tried to follow this advice in my own playthrough, went to the safehouse, and only realized after going due east that the containers with the rocket launcher were due *west* of the safehouse. I do not know if this is also true of the shock rocket schematics, or if I haven't gone far enough east, but you should probably edit this.
Had to start a new character as I had to get windows 10 version instead of steam version so I could play with my friend. Just wanted to say thank you as I was frustrated not being able to fight the enemies I wanted to!
Wanna start out with all your high ranking weapons from a previous game? Load them all into the stash box, then go to menu, delete all characters and make a new one. When you get to the first safehouse at the church, they'll all be in there, including experimental weapons, and all of mine have come with the original attachments I used on them in the previous game. Also, all ammo you stored will be there.
Tenebris, nice video!! I viewed it twice, and I liked it. Speaking for myself, I'm not much into guided runs or how to play, (unless I'm stuck) but I do find them useful for exposing things I hadn't come across yet. Keep up the creativity and don't let any fekker get ye down Respectfully Yours, R
I totally hear that my dude tons of people like to experience things fresh, so this might not be the most popular vid due to that but still this is such a fun way of going about the early game I had to share it! Cheers man, the work aint slowing down anytime soon :D
@@TenebrisInfinite These vids are great. I knew this content wouldn't be for me but watched it fully through and added a like to help it out. Thanks for continuing to cover this game even if it isn't the most profitable of videos. My son started this game because of your videos once crafting came out.
Dude! So I just recently picked up this game about a week or two ago and used this guide and it helped me tremendously! Just hit max level last night and found my first Experimental. I totally appreciate your in depth guides and the energy behind the delivery, keep it up my dude
If you go to the first farm, clear the doggo, active the safe house in barn. Loot everything, kill two spiderbots in other barn than use safe house and exit to menu, hop back in the 5 simple health kits and 3 sticky flares respawn indefinitely. And so do the two spiderbots. It's a easy 5 health kits and small xp that you can get repeatedly.
My dude. I noped out on the shottie at the end. Kept getting ganked by Hunters on the way, 3 out of 3 times, so I wimped out. :) P.S. I guess this game has had a lot of updates since this guide was first put up, the amount of enemy spawns is insane, particularly those flying mechs, they are everywhere in the swamp and coast region and they can spot you from miles away.
Awesome video! Helped a lot but what I can't understand is why they all here and see me from miles away? I have to crawl everywhere 😩 I liked where you showed where we were going ND marked it(very helpful). Plus they chase me for half the board. No joke, they never give up. Loved the way you told and showed where to go. Great Job! I'm definitely a subscriber! Thanks for your time and effort you put into the video. 👍👍👍😁
Late to the party since I just started the game. Deleted my first character once I get a hang of the mechanics of the game. Then I started fresh, did some farming and then started the run. Only died once and made it to the end. Got every pick up and weapon. Now I am heading back to the start to get into the game. Great vid my man.
@@oud13yearsago83 you can't make a new save. All characters are linked under a single game instance. It's one of the major complaints behind the game. If you want to start fresh you either have to delete all developed characters and start from scratch. Or create a new character but all that character can do is act as a additional storage space.
This was, fun as shit to follow along with. Took me a few days since i took it casually but, i found so much good shit in the crates alogn the way. 3 and 4 crown weapons like you wouldn't believe. In the crates near the assault rifle i also found an AG4 which quickly replaced the AI. Then later on i found a 2 or 3 crown AG5 as well. 4 crown messers and klockes, all sorts of good shit and SO FUCKING MANY GAS CANNISTERS. This was great to follow with and i even tried to take out the railgun tank, it BLEW me to pieces and i fucked back off to the starting safe houses to start the game properly~
Dude im really glad you had a blast following this route! Next time you get to that railgun tank you can rip him a new asshole with your very own railgun! (Late game weapon) cheers man, enjoy the best playthrough you'll get out of gz now :D
Amazing guide brother. I followed everything exactly the way you showed and made it to the end. Can't wait to start my playthrough with the 4 crown hp5 and over 1k rounds as my main weapon
Thanks a mil for this vid! I will take on this game again after giving it up which it's a pity as it reminds me when I did the military service 80/81. I did actually use many of the items in real life at that time. Including sleeping in those round tents.
My dude, I got 2 other 5 crowns, they were really easy to get. I found a way to farm 50cal ammo easily and that is just by fast travelling back and forth between safehouses in order to respawn the 50 cal. The run went amazing by the way. I was wondering, what is your field of vision for this game? I have mine set at 55
I thank you so much for posting this vidio! I have watched all of the videos and streams that Pontus has done, and have seen you also with him in multi-player. I could never understand what your name was when Pontus would say it. S I today I'm watching more GZ videos and up popped your name! Now I am looking forward to watching everything you have posted on your channel! I don't have the game yet and I'm not sure about how to use discord, in fact I don't know what discord is all about. I'm an old guy and not tech savvy. Thanks again for taking the time to help us!!
Just a lil tip, the base at 19:36 it looks like you should be able to crouch walk under the nose of the jet, but I got stuck doing it, and had to fast travel. All the way back to the church to get free. Couldn't move, jump, crawl, anything. If you unlock the safe house first, it isn't a big deal, but if you make the long trek, only to fail at the last 5 feet, it's pretty damn horrible Also he didn't show it at 27:12, because he got through the city a different way, but be careful if you try and bike straight through, as there's a bit of a inverted V-shaped roadblock in the middle of the street that can really screw you up. N if you have a ton of robots spawn there, it can be tough to react in time and avoid both the roadblock, and the robots. I ended up falling off my bike, n having to run away before I could circle back n get back on again. Healthkits are a must, but don't underestimate how long robots will keep chasing you for. A lot of times I'd barely manage to survive an encounter, I'd stop to heal up, n those few seconds were enough for them to catch up enough to shoot at me from a distance.
Still a really useful guide to get some decent gear from the start of the game. WIth a little bit of stealth, and the machine-gods smiling on me, zero deaths... A few "well, that was too close for comfort" moments, but that just added to the fun :)
OMG, he kept saying "lucky run" and that is exactly what I got , when he kept saying it might spawn here it never I mean never did, thanks dud made it theough and you where a big help
Just started playing (9 hrs in while taking my time). Happened to watch the Reaper video while grabbing a bite and before returning to the game decided to scan this video. The first thing I'll say is it appears as a veteran player you gravitate towards the farmland region regardless of lvl. My interest in any video is to make sure I don't miss basic game mechanics that would be part of my game play loop. Every thing else I prefer to discover as I play. The reaper video is stuff I won't see for quite some time and by the time I do reach that point, I'll already have a competent grasp on the game itself. I don't know why I waited so long to try this, but now with all the extra DLC and bug squashing already done - it was probably a wise decision. Unless a game almost forces players to use outside knowledge to advance without major problems, it seems more natural to allow the map/loot layout, mission objectives, and player curiosity to guide the player. In the past I've avoided missions/quests in games in order to 'get ahead', and too many times this results in backtracking which dulls the experience.
my Dude, great job bro... been slowing working threw the entire, don't know what i will find... i have an extra character slot ready to try this out... sad they got rid of the jump sprint function.
Started yesterday and finished this video run few hours later in small hours. Hay I was a level 8 when I saw this and just went straight for the .50 cal from the farmlands I got attacked by 8 count them 8 finix class hunters and 3 finix class dogs and 2 prototype tanks and one military call dog I killed all the hunters and dogs out ran the tanks and survived on 1 hp so if your going to do this fallow his route so you don’t have to suffer like I did also be carful going to the 4 crown submachine gun if you don’t fallow the route you can experience apocalypse class enemies

Do you know where you found it?
Very, very, very good and informational video. I've been planning on restarting from the beginning for a while and now with this guide it might well be a possibility 👀
Awesome man!! If you do, please tell me how it goes for you :D
@@TenebrisInfinite Ofc!
I've been wanting this game since I heard about it and it came out on game pass so I got it last night. Your video is super helpful
best guide / challenge I have come across to date (04\12\2021) I made it to the end with no deaths but I have played the game before which helped it was a challenge and I enjoyed it so thanks man
you will find more than of the same basic guns if your playing this in 2021
Ngl, the 5 mile bike ride was brutal for me and took a LONG time, it’s been a lot of fun and it’s been scary af but I really appreciate the video, I was struggling in the beginning of the game doing it all solo.
This was amazing! The nostalgia!! I remember loading in the first time and being scared, not know what to expect. I remember picking fights right out the gate and dieing alot back in the good old days when you could loot like 60 adrenaline shots in an hour lol. i loved this video and this game!! great job man!
What an absolute goat adding a speech to text in the description
Thanks. Havent played the game in years. Needed this reminder video
DUDE! Super awesome layout, and I'm really digging your stuff! Thanks bro!
Glad i could help my dude! That RPG will come in handy ;D Cheers!
I'm so mad at myself for not going on top of the concessions stand at the beginning and missing 2 of the adrenaline shots in the house
Its easy to miss! Parkour is actually a big thing in gz with a lot of hidden weapons and loot on roofs, so try it out wherever you see a chance! :D
Thanks for the video! Been low on adrenaline and needed some fast and this is just the place to look how.
My buddy and I just got this game on ps4. This will help us out very much. Thank you for the video.
something i would like to point out is theres a side mission you can find before you even reach the church not sure where but it takes you to the bjorknas homestead and inside is a 2 crown hunting rifle thats guarded by a tick its only a fraction less damage then the easter egg rifle tenebris shows but has a much better handling it was the best weapon i could ask for early game for my more stealth sniping play style and thought i would share in the hopes of someone else seeing this and helping them early game
thank u so much for putting effort in a video to get us started in this awesome game im so glad theres a video like this it helped so much thank u!
I just discovered you and your commentary here sounds so much better than in your newer videos imo. Still, great stuff
MY DUDE THANK YOU. You and your vids should have wayyyy more exposure than this. Bought the game last year ,didn't think to play it till today and you just made it better.
Awesome video dude! Thank you so much! Me and my buddy got this game yesterday and just finished following your guide🤘🏼
I've just bought this game on PS store for 12 quid. It's well worth it for the money. I'd definitely recommend. Thank you for the video, trying to follow your route now
I HIGHLY recommend it with friends, me and my buds have a blast!
Thank you for the help. While I already started the game with some levels, I did the run to get the guns to have more fun....
My dude thank you so much i just finished up with all of this so thankful! :)
Dude glad to help!! Now you can go show those machines whats up :D Good luck hunting down more 5c and 6c guns along the way man!
Dude the amount of effort and work you put into this video is absolutely insane, very nice video, keep it up buddy.
Thanks for the guide. Still relevant. A couple of things have changed but they only affect minor xp gains, so unimportant.
when i started the game i had to run from stenhaga to salthamn without any ammo and i died like 7 times
Much better if you avoid it entirely and come back with some great guns :D stenhaga is a serious choke point for many players!
this video is great, just got back into the game and this helped me get set nicely
Followed ur route to the T bots were a small prob but deff helpful thanks man👌👌🤜🤛
Dude awesome i'm stoked it helped! :D
Another was biking through the forest on "the Journey" and meeting the lovely sight of 2 groups of 5 hunters, 2 Tanks and only God knows how many Runners, all in a spread out group walking along the road.
:( Well technically I have but It was a Rival and I burned through nearly all my rockets and ammo doing it so I guess I need to figure out a better way :)
Have a great day and thanks for reading.
Thx for the video I've been playing the game forever and was probably a og player and this rout was super fun
Awesome to see my picture as a thumbnail! I'll try to get some more pics taken tonight! :D
@@markencheese887 thanks man!
Yes dude! Im hoping i can join ya today if i have free time if not I'll message you over psn and we can figure out a time for this weekend :D
@@TenebrisInfinite I'll see if I have time this weekend, I have a lot to clean and prepare for my graduation on friday next week 😁
Oh dude thats huge!! No worries if not, and a massive congratulations on that graduation my dude! :D
@@TenebrisInfinite Thanks man! Me, Uffe and Andreas are on right now so just hop on when you feel for it! :D
🤨? The magnum sucks
My duuuude! This is a great vid! Great work
Had to start a new character as I had to get windows 10 version instead of steam version so I could play with my friend. Just wanted to say thank you as I was frustrated not being able to fight the enemies I wanted to!
Thank you for this guide, this saved me alot from the hussle of find resources. Hope for more updates
Keep up the creativity and don't let any fekker get ye down
Respectfully Yours, R
P.S. I guess this game has had a lot of updates since this guide was first put up, the amount of enemy spawns is insane, particularly those flying mechs, they are everywhere in the swamp and coast region and they can spot you from miles away.
This is very helpful, I've been looking for a 50cal for forever
Awesome video! Helped a lot but what I can't understand is why they all here and see me from miles away? I have to crawl everywhere 😩 I liked where you showed where we were going ND marked it(very helpful). Plus they chase me for half the board. No joke, they never give up. Loved the way you told and showed where to go. Great Job! I'm definitely a subscriber!
Thanks for your time and effort you put into the video. 👍👍👍😁
i completed the game ages ago but this is still helping me
16:40 I looked in the graveyard next to the church and found an Automatgevar 5, which shoots 5.56mm rounds.
really useful if u kill tanks for the ammo cause i ran out
My dude thank u for this vid. As a first time player this helped alot. Keep up the awesome work
Once i reached the bunker place I felt like I was at peace but cause I was shaking so hard throughout the entire journey through the setup
Late to the party since I just started the game. Deleted my first character once I get a hang of the mechanics of the game. Then I started fresh, did some farming and then started the run. Only died once and made it to the end. Got every pick up and weapon. Now I am heading back to the start to get into the game. Great vid my man.
How do you make a new save
Absolutely fantastic video ! Cheers
My dude!! Thank you for all the helpful hints- just getting into the game enjoying it tremendously!!💪
Got to Littorp, and the serenade of 4 FNIX class tanks and 2 Military class tanks filled my ears
Eyy nice. I have always wanted to play the game again for the first time :)
Nice video!
And one thing i didn't know about before was this 44:04 :D
Gotta say it generation zero story reminds me of those scp stories by a certain youtuber. Btw thanks a ton u got me a head start my 1st playthrough.
Just a lil tip, the base at 19:36 it looks like you should be able to crouch walk under the nose of the jet, but I got stuck doing it, and had to fast travel. All the way back to the church to get free. Couldn't move, jump, crawl, anything.
If you unlock the safe house first, it isn't a big deal, but if you make the long trek, only to fail at the last 5 feet, it's pretty damn horrible
Also he didn't show it at 27:12, because he got through the city a different way, but be careful if you try and bike straight through, as there's a bit of a inverted V-shaped roadblock in the middle of the street that can really screw you up.
What difficulty are you playing this on? Also I've heard to disar the DLC until you beat the main game what do you tho k about that?
Still a really useful guide to get some decent gear from the start of the game. WIth a little bit of stealth, and the machine-gods smiling on me, zero deaths... A few "well, that was too close for comfort" moments, but that just added to the fun :)
OMG, he kept saying "lucky run" and that is exactly what I got , when he kept saying it might spawn here it never I mean never did, thanks dud made it theough and you where a big help
Thank you for the my dude I just picked up the game and I hope it goes well
My man! Thanks for the great guide. I'm new to the game so this helped a lot.
My dude thank you for this!! Super helpful 💋
Started yesterday and finished this video run few hours later in small hours. Amazing and pretty easy to follow - I too didnt die much... maybe about same -3 times... great routes and thanks for the weapons I can now go back and have fun with :) Just need an ammo farm now for all these that works at this point in time... July 2022
my dude great guide loved following it ;)
Hi from Scotland. Following yer vid, did ye get any gid loot fi that bot at the end?
Hey Colin, hopefully you got something alright from him i sadly just got bullets and a medkit :') the exp was more than worth it though!
Man this helped out so much thanks!!!!!!
The 50. Was there for you?
Vault Dweller ya up at light house we’re he said it was just make sure to fallow his path
@@goncaloafonso6684 highly depends there is a spot on a mushroom looking piece of land off the coast of the north coast region that has a purple 50 caliber sniper rifle
