There is no way one could not shed a tear at all this wonderful nostalgic memories of a store so many loved walking in and finding just what they needed that day.
Another 10 years and there will be no stores at all and in another 40 years people will be visiting museums like this to see how their ancestors used to shop..🍫🎄🍬🎅🐸🤶🎡🥳🥳🌜🌛🌟😷😷🐍🌠🌠🦍
One of the greatest-entrepreneurs in American History, Mr. Woolworth was. All little-Frankie ever wanted was to one-day clerk in a store like the one he knew as a boy. Dreams of owning his own chain of such stores was far-in-the-future but, you know what? Those dreams were achieved, his "five & dime" concept revolutionizing American-mercantilism in the process---and, golly, did we love those miraculous, marvelously-democratic stores he conceptualized & provided us!
Thank you thank you and thank you again!!!! What a warm walk down memory lane. My eye really widened when I saw the doll house my mom and dad got me back in the early 1960's. There were other things as well and it all warmed my heart ❤ up! Thanks again.
I definitely recognized 2 or 3 items from my childhood. That vintage Christmas stuff can still be bought on the internet if you like that kind of retro nostalgia.

Love this Woolworth remembrance. I sure have fond memories of shopping there for Christmas with the money I saved in my Christmas account at the bank. Thank you for sharing …..please go a little slower with the camera as it almost goes too fast to really focus on what is being presented. Please know this is not meant as a criticism…..it’s just that i am enjoying it so much that I want to take it all in. Best to you!
Woolworth, J.J. Newberry, Grants, McCrory’s, etc. were 5 &10 stores. All gone now and sadly missed. Now replaced with “Dollar” stores. Same concept. I don’t get it.
We were so happy and satisfied with one little simple toy. I sure remember and cherish those memories in my heart ❤️.
🥰 Yes i agree....All the wonderful memories will stay in my heart forever. Woolworth's was our absolute favorite store growing up.💖 So much Fun!! 😊💖
Oh my! Many of those things STILL reside in my house.

💞Miss my mom too....All our wonderful memories will stay close in our hearts forever.💖😊
I love Woolworth, and wish they would bring it back. A store that had everything you need, at a good price.
I LOVE YOU WOOLWORTH
THIS WAS ALWAYS MAGICAL AS A YOUNG BOY.....AT TAYLOR'S FIVE & DIME IN FLUSHING, OPENED THE DAY AFTER THANKSGIVING....
THEIR CHRISTMAS ROOM
Christmas where are you? Blessing to all!
My parents and grandparents always called Woolworth's the Five & Dime...
This is the best! I see some of my mom’s Christmas decorations that I have and ones I picked up in antique stores.
I wish I could go back nd relive those days. Thank you !
I have the old "radio-shaped" tin church organ that still gives a few wheezes when you turn the crank.
woolworth was right at bottom of my granmothers street, i remember in the 70s the wonderful christmas displays, i miss it so much.

Question- is this stuff new, old stock or is it all replicated to make this store? It's really nostolgic!
Did anyone else catch the PEZ dispencers at 2:02 ? they have feet , not period.
