      Yeah that comes to show she was just a huge hype job that loss will haunt her for the rest of her life, I'm sure because the humiliation behind that fact that she got ko'd after running her mouth during the build up to the Holmes fight and now she has to live with that oh well a moment of success can really change people, look at her now 🤷‍♂️

      Exactly because Rousey was in a strange predicament because MMA is a young sport and the women's division was even younger back then so I would say Rousey was the George Mikan of women's MMA the very first superstar but she couldn't sustain it due to obvious reasons of false hype, fallen victim to that false hype, not wanting to evolve as an MMA fighter running to pro wrestling where they even made a bigger mistake of developing her and the rest is history

    Seems like a fiction fairytale book. You want us to believe only reason you lost your fights was because you were so messed up before the fight that if you get hit with a jab you would get a concussion. Even before she started to get beat up by Holly her stand up was sloppy and looked non excitant compared to Holly. Holly and Nunez striking ability is what gave her a concussion. Ronda is an excellent grappler not a striker. I would have been a big fan because of the ways she quickly ended fights, but her bad sportsmanship made me wanted to see her get beat regardless of who beats her except for Bethe Correia. Glad Ronda won that one

    Rousey was a one trick pony. It was a damned good trick that won her a lot of fights, but in the end it wasn’t enough. When well rounded female fighters like Holly Holmes, Amanda Nunes, and Chris Cyborg came along, Rousey was doomed. She had poor striking skills, and just couldn’t hang with good boxers. She had her time when the women were still learning to be MMA fighters. Now, women’s MMA is the real deal, with highly talented fighters that put on just as good a show as the men.

    • @Skank_and_Gutterboy
      @Skank_and_Gutterboy 4 дня назад +1

      Ronda also had the advantage that the fighters going up against her were trained to be afraid of her. Ronda's corner kinda freaked out when they realized that Holly wasn't afraid of her and was actually training to beat her instead of just play defense and try to survive the fight (like Aldana did in Amanda Nunes' last fight, that was the most pathetic sh!+ I've ever seen). Holly wasn't showing the appropriate amount of fear of Ronda, that's why they broke out all the ridiculous BS of Ronda having world-class striking and beating up guys in bars and all that crap. Ronda is the worst liar ever, she showed it then and she's showing it with this idiotic book. You could write a book about the logical problems with her book.

    You are not the greatest and never could have been. It's not because you're not good it's because you were first.. The first never has nor will ever be the greatest. You set the map in fighting style etc. Look at how the MMa fighting style started and how rounded a fighter must be now. You are not looked at because of how you fought or won you're not even looked at because you lost. Its how you acted after you lost is what killed it for me anyway. That was not so much your fault as the ones who trained you. They taught you how to win and when you fight you must know how to lose. There is nothing wrong with losing. Only how you react to losing.
