I personally think actresses are more sensible than many actors in our industry. Just look at the level of maturity she has. Truly impressed with her serene nature and genuine answers.
She is one of the nicest actress in tamil cinema. From television actress to mainstream actress, her transformation is so good. As a south indian, we should encourage tamil speaking actress because they are few actress only in tamil cinema who can speak tamil well.
Very sensible interview, and she shows tremendous maturity. As a Kamal Haasan fan, I was in disbelief watching Indian 2. You expect certain standards from him-he's unlike other superstars and respects the audience's intelligence and time. With Shankar at the helm, I was expecting great entertainment that is both classy and logical. What we got was a substandard product. She cannot be trolled or blamed for the film's failure, and she has the potential to become a top actress
Tysm for Sharing &ur Precious time Respected PBS Ma 'am. phenomenal Performance.Extraordinary expression Love from Mysuru. Thanks Bharadwaj Sir 🌹🌹🙏🙏♥️♥️💯💯
PBS was a part of cast & crew of Indian 2 but she got heavily trolled as if she had written & directed the movie.. People who trolled her for no reason must be ashamed of themselves
She is truly intelligent and very matured person. If a film become flop the blame is on the heroine it Become a common thing. One of the perfect example is Pooja hegde , her last film doesn't go well so everyone started bullying her. Even for beast film that happened. The film making wise , story wise very weak and the film turned as a flop. But everyone blamed on the heroine. Especially the actors fans. They won't blame the male actor for their choices. As priyanka said heroine is the last addition in any film.
Beast was absolute garbage and thank God I didn't watch in cinema. I was not able to watch after the first quarter. Gave up. Wonder was Vijay crazy to choose that movie? Not really his fan but in the recent times he was clever in choosing right scripts. Unfortunately Beast was a disaster. Granted Pooja Hedge is a mediocre actress but hot and beautiful, yet it's stupid to make her the punching bag. Even if she had put more effort and acted "perfect", still can't change the fact that the movie sucked.
Priya Bhavani looks so beautiful. She looks more beautiful than North Indian women. Actually Tamil or Telugu women are naturally beautiful but North Indian girls are casted due to fair skin and heavy glamor. Priya Bhavani is also talented. Hope we see Beautiful talented Tamil girls in cinema
North indian girls are casted because they have a bold and professional mindset to do what filmmakers intend in a film which includes glamorous songs and scenes which everybody can't just do.....that's daring of them and hence why they are getting roles.....so stop antagonising them inorder to lift up native girls.....
@@Wr-v1inobody is antagonizing them here.. we infact built a temple for one of those.. fact is, no heroine can survive long only by exposing.. nobody even remembers hansikas or kajals or their ‘acting’ now.. only heroines who can actually act can stand the test of time!

Such a sensible interview from her😇😇. The way she answered for the need of North Indian heroines in the big movies. Just 'on the face' practical explanation 😊
She got good 3 films she proved it She is sensible actress she knows what she wants She has capable to do good characters she has matured thoughts she carried herself is wonderfull
Priya ur really great and my dream heroine from kmkv ur different from other heroines don't have words to explain your excellence I am really crazy on u ma stay blessed always be like now😊
I agree with her answer about how a heroine is selected. There are times when same heroine will be casted in almost all movies during that time. I have seen this trend with Sri Divya, Samantha..
The actor BR talks about at 26:00 is Aishwarya Rajesh. She made that remark during one of the Film Companion interviews. She even quoted Janani Iyer as an example. This was around the time when Kadaikkutty Singham released.
You are right. U remember that interview. Aishwarya Rajesh's question was why was a white woman (Amy Jackson) cast as a namma ooru ponnu (in Gethu). She was like "even if they wanted a Brahmin girl, they could have cast Janani Iyer".
I saw Rathnam - she was excellent and believable. But she cannot control which film works, as long as she acts such character roles she will do just fine. We don't need roles credited as 'glamour' anymore. She is pretty enough to do the glamour part as well if the script warrants.
AHMAD MEERAN STARTED THE TROLL WITH AN AGENDA(ANTI-HINDU) BUT BRAVE PBS SILENTLY KILLED NEGATIVITY BY HANDLING WITH MATURITY AND DIPLOMATICALLY AND PROVED HERSELF BY GIVING CONSECUTIVE SUCCESS- WELL DONE PBS
Her first 10mins makes me think and understand why ajith is not giving interviews. They truly understand the pain in cinema and starting to enjoy their own life. Audiences and trollers have to understand all this and stop putting their nonsense thoughts on the actors.
I had been her fan since day 1. It was because tamil speaking at first and liked even more later for being sensible. I'm guessing the big hero movie she regrets is Thiruchitrambalam, the movie I enjoyed.
Can anyone explain why is this interview even happening? Black is good, slowly picking up. Why do I get to see an interview which is nothing about black and all about PBS. I am not interested in PBS, nor her private life.

This girl is smart. Loved the way she asked back the question to BR and BR answering it honestly. Cant wait to see Black.
One of the best interview, great perspective on taste and types of tamil audience. Thank you BR
Very nice interview. I think it was Aishwarya Rajesh who asked BR why Tamil speaking heroines are not considered here.

This is the first time I’m hearing such a mature conversation from the actress ( ulagatha purinchikitanga)
One of the nice actress. She is bold, talented and articulate.
First sensible actress I've seen in years.

Natural Girl Simplicity
What's wrong with people? I have always felt she is a good actor and kudos to her for being completely self-made.
I have become a fan of Priya Bhavani Shankar after this interview. What a clarity and maturity. Better than so many other heroine interviews.
Demote colony 2 reduced this girl to a constantly screaming character. Still the first part was a total gem as a horror movie.
One of the Best Interview with quite some insights which are really helpful to all in general with a perspective
