- Synchro Machine might be the best Pokemon gimmick of all time. The synchro machine feature in the indigo disk pokemon dlc2 changes everything. Tornadus chicken run, Joltik jumping and cute walk, Toedscool squidward run, Kingambit moving all are hilarious.

It feels like something they were testing the waters on, like the walking animations in Sun/Moon, but decided to just toss in the game for fun.
I hope we can actually do something with it y’know? Like maybe if we sync with sneasler we can climb mountains, or maybe we can use the flying pokemon to actually fly

I was never sure if I liked Toedscool. This made me change my mind XD great music choice, I love the little guy!!
The only thing bad about the Synchro Machine is that if you battle a shiny you will kill it, also if you are far away and encounter a shiny if you leave to catch it the shiny might despawn.
Well that have it's own thrill 😅that's like making a core memory. laying on a hospital bed, old and suddenly will remember how I k!lled a shiny lapras while in sychro
Joltick is so tiny and cute that I would 100% pet one even if it means get electrocuted.

I discovered Kingambit’s moving animation when I evolved my playthrough one. I was so confused and so amused by his animation. 😂
I love this thing. Sure, it's just kind of you control them instead of them vibing in Let's Go or picnics, but it's stupidly fun to goof around with.
Haven’t seen anyone else have this theory yet so I’m claiming it:
This gimmick is in the game because they’re testing it for a new Pokémon Mystery Dungeon game which will be announced at the next Pokémon presents. Testing this feature just the same as how the wild area in gen 8 was a test for the removal of tall grass in gen 9 and PLA. They love trialling new features on a small scale first in the generation that precedes the one where the new feature is a core aspect of the game.
This was my thought as well, although I just assumed this was the groundwork of a major new mechanic in the next mainline games. It'd make a lot more sense for a mystery dungeon game though, and if its true then I cant wait to play it
Except GameFreak doesn’t develop the Mystery Dungeon games. Spike Chunsoft does.

Best way to introduce New Mistery Dungeon? Yes
Doubt it, if anything it'd be a new spinoff series, the free movement would mess with the grid based turn based battle system. They could make some kind of Pokemon 3D platformer though, that'd be pretty sick. Instead of choosing missions Mario 64 style you pick a pokemon at the start of the stage
this is what the open world game needs going forward to succeed. give us a world to explore and lots of ways to use this feature to do so.
Using HM pokemon to get rid of road blocks while controlling the pokemon like this. I personally think will be a great way to implement this.

i hope they add the ability to actually interact and play with wild pokemon while using the synchro machine along with making wild pokemon naturally play and interact with each other that will also make hide and sync a lot more interesting since you'll also need to work on blending in with wild pokemon while hiding
