Respectfully…..Has Emerson College publicly apologized to the Broadwater family? If not, why? He was fully exonerated. Alice Sebold herself has acknowledged that what she did to him and his family was cruel beyond repair. Does Emerson College plan to release a public apology to Mr. Anthony Broadwater, his family and loved ones, as well as any POC who may have suffered because of the racist lie told by Alice Sebold which unjustly robbed him of 16 years of his life? How many Emerson College students past and present participated in protests demanding radical and immediate change to our criminal justice system? Mr. Broadwater was a victim of this system just like Emmett Till, George Floyd, and Breonna Taylor. Alice Sebold’s commencement speech is still up. Why? Does Emerson College support Alice Sebold and her willful decision to wrongly accuse Mr. Broadwater? If so, how? Alice Sebold is a woman who represents the worst parts of America’s racist and unjust oppression of POC, primarily Black Americans.
