I don't see how the arrangement and music is that bad (in response to some of the comments.) Of course it's going to sound dated because it is dated, but Miss Flo still shines.
(1) None of these songs are hit records. (2) Still, listening to this and other recordings of Florence Ballard, yes, she can sing. And perhaps with the right song she would have charted.
I read in a Marvin Gaye bio that he said that Flo had a nice voice. I'm glad that this was posted for those of who didnt get the opportunity to hear her vocal skills.
Flo has her diehard fans out there who love her voice and style - and I am one of them. We needed more songs with her as solo or lead, but are fortunate to have the ones she did sing.
Florence sounds GREAT!!! She had a much more mature voice than Diana! I wish there were more songs with her and Mary leading. They should have taken turns singing. Such a rich voice!

All it would have taken was a different producer and maybe arranger...she had the voice!
