Perkins Restaurant + Walt Disney Store, International Drive, Orlando FL

- Some of our viewers asked us to check out the new Walt Disney Store that has just opened on International Drive.
The store is very small and has limited merchandise offerings, but it does have a Customer Service center and a DVC center to help you with any of your questions or if you wish to book something.
We walk you around all the merchandise in the store and discover an item nobody has a clue what it is for, do you know? if so, answer in the comments.
Next, we are peckish so head out for Sunday brunch to somewhere called Perkins restaurant just around the corner. Visually it's not very appealing, like stepping back into the 1980's inside but the staff were really nice, and the food was OK.
We think it's a fine place to take family to fill your boots for breakfast before heading into the parks
Perkins. Now there is a blast from the past. Remember taking our two there when they were really young. One had a burger, one had Mac and Cheese. Honestly, Day-Glo is an understatement. It really looked radio-active! Sunglasses required to eat it🤣🤣Did not taste great either!
Hi Barry and Maxine. My husband and I always watch your videos on our T.V. After conversing with you last night on Pete's channel; I thought I better watch something on my phone, so I could comment 😀. I am also a member of your Facebook group too. The new Disney Store is really nice. Especially the convenience of being able to take care of purchasing tickets and such. The 360 view of the resort rooms was cool too.
Wow, I didn't even know Perkins was still around. We don't have one in the state we live in now. But where we grew up (California) there was one. I haven't ate there in over 20 years and back then we thought it looked dated and old 🤣🤣. ~Ali 🎀🏰💖

I do love a perkins breakfast especially chicken & biscuits there pies are lovely we always stayed at the rosen across the road so we ate there a lot
Used to visit Perkins on Hwy 27 before it closed. Always found the breakfast good VFM.

Glad you showed Perkins. We always make Perkins our first stop for Breakfast on our first morning in Orlando. We were there on 15 May and I always have Eggs Benedict and take home a Choc Chip Muffin. Hubby has Pancake stack and Blueberries. So nice. We have eaten there once of an evening in the past but not to keen. But do love the breakfasts.
Perkins Restaurants are also big supporters of Give Kids the World village in Kissimmee too. So we always go to a Perkins more than once and leave a tip in the jar for Make-A-Wish-Foundation when we pay on leaving.
I first ate at that Perkins in 1983…almost 40 years........YIKES

Assuming because it was by the cups it may be for napkins, straw's or plastic utensils..or or could be for mail and pens pencils on top..could be what ever you want to make it..lol..love your vlogs..hello from central florida
I stayed at the what was Marriott residence Inn round the corner from there in 1997 on a family holiday aged 16 and we were in that Perkins a few times and the ponderosa down by Jamaica court.
Perkins hasn't changed a bit!
I heard ponderosa is no more that place was crazy pay for a steak and eat everything from the buffet for free.

Hiya, I didn’t know Disney were opening that new store!! Not heard anything about it. Handy to have on I drive tho. Haven’t been to a Perkins in years either, that price wasn’t bad at all. Hope u have settled back into normal life after ur trip over xxx

I haven’t been to a Perkins in years!! My grandmother loved going there and she loved to pick up items from the bakery. Now I’m hungry for diner food 😊
I loved perkins for breakfast and always chose the waffles with mixed fruit then I smothered it with twinberry sauce,it was delicious. We always thought it was great value for money and often bought some muffins to take home too. 😊 xx
I love Perkins. Last time I went to Orlando I got breakfast and you got a free drink and slice of pie with a meal. I love their peanut butter pie. We had Bakers Square in California but they all closed down years ago and Perkins has the same menu. They seemed to be doing great business so don’t know why they all closed.
Back to the 80’s! Looked decent though, maybe less merch than usual post covid. Liked the DVC booth 👍🏻 Can’t argue with filling up for a decent price. Thanks for the mentions! 😊
Another great vlog Mr & Mrs Bazza. Bring Maxine to Fortuna Bakery in Celebration. The best coffee and cakes we have had in Florida and afterwards a bike ride around the lake. I know you visited Celebration with the Lodge Boys but you missed out on this bakery and the lake. Get on your bike Bazza 😉
It's been years but Perkins was my spot for "summer" pies -- peach, berries, etc.

There is a Perkins near us opposite the Red Lion the lodge guys stayed at in 2020. We have been there a couple of times but not very recently and find it has old fashioned comfort food but very reasonable prices.

Very interesting to watch. We went to Perkins on our holiday to Orlando in 2013 and it wasn’t the best experience. Have been back to Orlando twice since then in 2015 and October 2022 and haven’t returned to Perkins again. Hoping to come back again when the new Universal park opens in 2025. I’d love to move to Orlando some day.
It was like walking back into the the 1990’s , but the food and service was ok
@@ThemeParkBazza I’ll possibly give it a go next time I go over. We loved Denny’s when we went this year! Another good place is Mannys Chophouse in Haines City. Return there everytime we come😁

Highly recommend BJs Brewhouse, great happy hour deals on food and drink, food is amazing as well and they brew their own Beer!

Hi, I’m coming out in October 😁 and was wondering if there is a best day to go to the Coach outlet store. Love getting to see Orlando and really appreciate all the great tips.
Any of the outlet stores best to visit midweek and go early ( most only open at 10 or 11am so check before you go)

Don’t think so , the only reason we would pay to stay in Orlando is if we got a free fast passes, we only live 25 mins drive away
We said napkins in the bottom and straws in the top as it's with the home wares.
Can the ticket centre help with app issues for My Disney and genie+ as well? This will be helpful if your off site and wanting to book restaurants and attractions.

Hello from sunny Great Yarmouth, I’m looking at booking florida later in the year, is it possible to walk from the clarion inn on I-drive to universal studios at all?
If you want to walk for an hour in Orlando sun then yes it is possible. I would however suggest an Uber or Lyft.

Just fill in the total amount the same as the bill without any tip and leave cash

Random comment, I hate fries cooked in very very fresh oil, there's that 'golden period' where the oil isn't so fresh that the fries are pale and tasteless, but isn't so old that it tastes nasty. :)

Poor man's Denny's? Are you having a laugh? Denny's food quality is nowhere near that of Perkins. I've eaten in both several times and Perkins is miles better.
