Students who leave college prematurely under any circumstances deserve exit counseling sessions to identify any thoughts of doing harm to themselves or others. Universities can be pressure cookers, and so many young people are vulnerable and need help to cope with fears of failure and stress over student debt and social ramifications. He is not the first troubled student to resort to harmful maladaptive behaviors, including assault.
100% ... It's a triple-whammy: Coping with failure/guilt. Owing money that you can't pay back (or someone else has to pay), and facing your family/friends who may have been depending on your success (possibly family having strict consequences). Not to mention the uncertainty of your immediate future, needing to leave your home and school unexpectedly. Even a relatively stable mind can break in those circumstances. They need help.
So, according to law enforcement, Carlos meets the definition of a serial killer. Did he travel to the University of Idaho to watch the football game with UC Davis on Saturday, November 12? There might not be much of a connection here, but the coincidence is worth a second look. The U of I played a home football game against UC Davis at 7:00 PM on Saturday, Nov. 12. The game ended between 9:00/9:30 PM. The Idaho-4 were murdered in the early morning hours of Sunday, Nov. 13. Even though it is a long trip, many students in this conference travel to away games to support their teams. Where was Carlos?
He meets the definition of a spree killer who suddenly starts killing people until he’s caught. Serial killers have more than 3 victims over a period of time and usually have signatures.
@@sarcasticallyrearranged According to Davis Police Chief Darren Pytel, Dominguez meets the definition of a serial killer. He stated this in this video. Apparently, the Wikipedia definition of a serial killer and Chief Pytel's definition are at odds. Just imagine...how much isolation, pain, and suffering this young man went through, that twisted his soul, darkened his heart, and put a veil of hatred over his eyes, to desire the brutal, painful, violent death of strangers as the only worthwhile pursuit in his young life. It is one thing to buy a gun, walk into some place, pull the trigger multiple times, and then to put the barrel in your mouth and pull it one last time. It is another thing to spend hours stalking, wandering, picking a victim, so that you could sink a slab of metal into their flesh, feel the warmth of their blood spill over your hands, look them in their eyes as their life fades away. We can add more lights. We can add more officers, more patrols. We can tell people not to go out at night. We can arm teachers, and run drills of active shooters. These are all but band-aid solutions. There's something very consistent with how some people turn out this way in our society. Something very disturbing in the way some people feel that the only way to feel warmth from a community is to burn it down.
Arming ourselves is certainly not a band aid solution. Interesting how these sort of crimes don’t happen in open carry states. I agree that mental health is a primary concern. But being able to protect ourselves is also a primary concern

This is the first I have heard of this crime. So many murders, who can keep track. So sad for the victims.

Brian what’s-his-name killed those students a few days after being kicked out of school.
Seems like they have no coping skills for failures.
Thank goodness they got this monster.

This is a evil person to decide to use a knife and stab innocent ppl? How wicked
To close to home, I’m happy everybody in the community of Davis can rest easy tonight!
Carlos Dominguez was a horrible person to do something like that to the "compassion guy".
Great job 👍👍👍, praying for the families 🙏
Be interested to see his parents reaction.
They’re heartbroken 💔 for sure
Thank you
Ban fully semi automatic assault knives
Mug shot?
That's why people will never rule the world
Stabbing suspect looks like Che Guevarra!
No, he looks more like Richard Ramirez only because they both have scraggly, dark hair.
I can only hear on one side. How do you guys mess up the audio lol.
It isn’t “messed up,” it is just monaural.

Homeless people are out in the open, vulnerable and usually ignored and considered pests more than people who fell on hard times.
Was the guy to the left of the chief a victim?( dark humor)
I thought the Chief looked like Victor Buono, the actor who played King Tutt on the 1966 Batman series
He kind of looks like the Frito Lay guy.
