That fight is honestly super sick! I feel like rhe only change it needs is to have the boss apply the teeth only to allies, or only to self, but not both. Makes it more predictable so players can plan around it better, while still being an impactful effect
@@willw5868 Thank you! I did have it that way originally but it seemed too easy - but now I'm thinking that it only seemed easy to me because I was playing it over and over and learned how to counteract the boss. It was actually harder to code the boss to target itself or an ally randomly. I think I will change it back.
Hey, more frost dev here again. Glad to see you've had fun with reworked devicro and krut! So, for noomlin horn, I actually have made the card before 1.2 came out - and I just never bothered to remove it (mod support has existed as a beta branch for quite a bit before 1.2). I will probably make it toggleable via configs Also, multiple lumin *can* actually happen in vanilla. It's not intended for sure, but it's a vanilla interaction. You can achieve it by either splitting a lumin'd truffle/splinter, or by giving lumin vase barrage by giving it an attack stat, 2 attack (via battle bell or battle charm), and then pomegranate charm. I will update this comment with more info dumping when I'm able to
33:44 totally agree with reordering suggestion, I thought it was supposed to be opposite to fragile, where you can't increase HP before fight as it will go back to 1 on deploy
I would argue that there are cases where you would definitely prefer skull muffin, as it thins it out after use, so skull muffin isn't power crept. However, the person who's gimmick is renewable skull muffins is absolutely power crept
@@art-cs6us but he takes up a unit slot, and you would have to get lucky on charms. That being said, the spark does give him some edge cases, but I think he is largely powercrept
In decks where you want a card like Skull Muffin, you want to see effects like “kill an ally for free” as much as possible. Thinning itself out is not a benefit, it is a drawback, because it’s a really strong card in decks where you would voluntarily draft it (where you have repeatable summons and Sacrifice effects). So I do not think that there are any edge cases at all where Skull Muffin is better than that card.
When do you ever want go kill an ally, but only once? I cannot conceive of such a build. Anytime your capitalizing on unit sacrifices you want to do it multiple times.
The reason why his frenzy doesn't go down on split is that a unit that has 2 attacks actually has 1 frenzy (1 base attack + 1 frenzy), which halves to 0.5 and rounds up to 1, ending up at 2 attacks
I figured the play at 12 minutes was to tar blade the shell off the boss to eliminate the worst case scenario and put devicro on top row, then whichever enemy gets converted can be picked off with another tar blade next turn since they lost their shell. Just keep the shell off the boss and everyone else can be managed in other ways Since she goes before any other enemies, and she can't give herself shell to convert, as long as you don't the the turn with shell on her then she'll never give herself teeth
I think a way the mod creator could make which hazel less RNG is something like "convert the shell of the ally with the most shell into teeth" that way the player can control and predict who gets the teeth. Also she should not be able to give herself teeth.
I can only imagine the horror that you would come up with if you made a mod. But i also can imagine it would take you forever to do that. Cause i feel like you are the type of guy that would only release it in a perfect state. With like 300 hours of tryin to balance the shit out of it.
I know you get super into the Mods already, but have you played the Frost Knights mod? That shits hard. They basically took freeze out, there's still a couoke freeze cards but you have to live long enough to get to em.
Wow lavaglass is comically OP The second fight and Krut are super cool design though (for Witch Hazel you probably want to destroy its shell asap. Might be ok to play against after a few tries)
@thejazmaster5292 I'm glad you liked the second fight (I'm the mod creator). From playing testing I found it definitely gets easier after a few fights, and you learn the best strategies to manage the shell
48:22 i was literally about to make a comment about this but i figured i'd watch the video first to see if you brought it up and you did literally right after i unpaused
"If she gives herself teeth you just lose the game" but didn't you acknowledge in the fight that you can just hit off the shell to prevent the teeth from targeting herself? Devicrow could have been guaranteed to live if you just made him attack into the boss and hit the shell off of her instead, and the hunkers really didn't seem that threatening at 1 damage every 2 turns, so I'm not sure why you went for them- that fight didn't seem that bad if you just focused the boss. Is there something I'm missing?
To be frank, the fight *is* a bit overtuned - in my opinion it'd be perfect if either A. The baby pecans had less health or B. The boss couldn't target self with their effect. Yes, it wasn't that bad in voyix's case - but it is harder than the other fight 2s in general.
I'm struggling to understand the function of rescue UFO. In what situation would that be useful enough to justify picking the card or the unit that creates it?
Sorry you weren't keen on the seedlings fight, it's relatively new and I'm still balancing it! I'm glad you liked the Bell Charm though

The Devicro struggle transcends even beyond vanilla, love to see it.

Well, the baker has spark, so in a way he is kind of like a noomlin. Plus lumin ring on him is pretty sweet.

This final battle is something else. Good job mod makers 👍
Krut with the glass charm seems prettty excellent for gaining tons of block, since you can get him back to 1 hit junjun range with damage
He even mentioned how great it would be if only Krut had one more attack. Then he got the +1ATK arrow charm, but had forgotten about the setup.

I said it before, but I'll say it again ; the backflip mod is sick
Remember lavaglass from snowfall? That one had consume!
39:11 HOLY SHIT HOW DID HE KNOW!? He fucking got my ass god damn. I did look.
I did too! 😂

Hi, I'm the mod creator. I'll consider that, thank you!
the strawman certainly is cooked

If nothing else this run very clearly illustrates the problems with Devicro.
Streamer! Mr. Streamer you didn’t read that one thing correctly!
I made the strawman real just to keep you company
Hey straw man how’s it goin
Good devicro is something I've been waiting for ages
That final fight was butt clenching from start to finish. I would crack like a bad ceramic pot under that much pressure lmao
That final battle was a monkaS express
You actually did get me. I did in fact check the timer.
Jeez, that was a close one at the end. Well played.
This thumbnail blindsided me with pure "Wtf" energy. That thing disturbs me.
absolutely incredible run, and the strawman debates always have my sides in orbit streamerrrr
I'm here to upvote every pee berry comment. I see you, you are visible and an important part of the community.
Wildfrost, featuring -Peeberry- Teaberry
32:17 It occurred to me: takoyaki is made with octopus. Splitting an ally is a boss ability from an octopus. Coincidence?
I know you get super into the Mods already, but have you played the Frost Knights mod? That shits hard. They basically took freeze out, there's still a couoke freeze cards but you have to live long enough to get to em.
That was a fucking insane last fight holy shit
Fine. I'll say it. You've worn me down.
PEEBERRY
good devicro?!? can't wait!
21:12 a “reset up use” clause would be nice on cards such as lava glass
I think that the name “Beeberry” is terrible, I don’t get why they wouldn’t-you get where the comment is going
It’s me, Strawbert Mann and I’m evil
Wow lavaglass is comically OP

Hey, more frost dev here, glad you liked Krut!
a run where zoomlin wafers would be king
A good win
Honey! It's 1 PM, it's time for another long Frost Gang fight with Devicro!
Commenting because I looked at the timer. Thanks for the vids :)

So devicro gets to keep lumin if you split him, eh?

I've used it im my runs as a freeze on enemies. If it's a backline enemy it won't be getting damaged that turn anyway
@@RordamJ that makes sense, I guess the "rescue" in the name was making me try to think about it as something you hit your own guys with
@@RordamJ Ooh, I didn't think of that!
You could also "hide" an enemy in the frontline to reach someone in the back, that's neat
It can also be used to completely avoid all damage if you use it with only 1 unit on the board and waste all enemies turn timers
I hope you finish your mushroom sweeps with puffshroom and or sunshroom cause they be so cute
