Single dad here raising my daughter solely on my own. It’s super hard with all the stresses in life. I’m a non college graduate Joe scraping by too and doing the single dad thing now for six years. I never asked for or got assistance from anyone. My daughter has recently turned 18 and is college bound. I am so proud of her and love her so much. You never hear about the struggles of the male parents because it’s not news worthy but that’s ok. To all you single parents living on the edge of survival...hang in there you got this.

Isn’t it crazy that even 45 years ago a single lower middle class income could easily provide for an entire 4 person household with more leftover.

As a single mom, nurse working on the front line, taking the financial burden for my parents, and a full-time student..... I almost had a panic attack. This past year has been rough for everyone. We can make it through. Please DO NOT give up.

Honestly some of these comments just reinforce my belief that partisanship is a cancer in American discourse today. Both parties have done not even the bare minimum to help working people and everyone just decides to blame the other side instead of coming to the conclusion that both parties are clearly at fault.

My mom is single mom, raised both my brother and I! She worked two jobs, never got helped from my dad or the government. She starts at 6 am to 3 pm lab work and 4 to 12 mid gas station. Now she's retired she made sure we have a roof over us at all times. Single parents are hard hit!

Money to other countries, money for the arts, money for political pet projects. All that money for aid to everything else but not for Americans. Way to go politicians.

God forgive me but the driver lady unequivocally said she’s can’t work on the front lines because who will take care of her if she gets sick yet she’s out and about as an activist.

Ok... that precious little boy saying "Your masks are in your house. If you lose your house, how are you going to get your masks?" literally brought tears to my eyes.
