And secure in himself. I've had a few students whose kids are learning English as native speakers. I tell them, "Great! Your kids can help you learn English." Some will reject the idea of kids having the upper hand in this situation and refuse to learn from them. It's an enormous waste of an opportunity because the fastest way to learn a language is to use it. If you eliminate speaking it at home you're doing yourself a disservice.

Great teacher and equally great student's demonstration! Thank you! Natives always tell me that the flow is meant to save my energy and effort when I talk. However, as a non-native speaker, I find the flow is the most energy-consuming part for me - every time I try to get the right flow, I sweat, LOL.

This is much like "Scaffolding for Student Success". Through the "scaffolding structure" both in the aspects of teaching approach and learning approach, which revolves around the key word(e.g. town). Gradually you introduce one item by one item very patiently. The learner has great chance to learn them thoroughly. Thank you very much for introducing this useful approach to us!

I had never seen a class like this. Simply spetacular! Amazing! I wish I had learned english by using this method since the beginning. I face difficulty on listening comprehension because what I write or read is never what I hear from a native speaker. Congrats teacher Jill.

@TicoSmartphone you really have to be careful though when speaking in this manner that you don't link words to create another word you didn't intend. For example, if you say 'Greatest hits", and link the words in the manner described above, it would sound like 'Greatest tits", and then you would have a whole new level of problems. Sometimes enunciation is just as crucial.

This is the best English learning video I've ever seen although I knew the knowledge. I can't understand if people don't add rhythms to their speech.

I love the emotion that this teacher put into her work, too. I'm Colombian. Learning English in Colombia has been tragic for my "speaking." But I love this channel. I'm learning a lot. *Jill Diamond*
