Every time I see a video of John it makes me well up with pride. He is so talented and his love of animals inspires me to be a better person. I love this video. So amazing and incredibly moving!

I hear you, I totally agree. I love John, he's a real inspiration and I really felt for him when Takara got moved. I feel that he has nothing to be ashamed of at all, like you said the courage it's taken to speak out about Sea World...just wow. @@ulisesmarvels The orcas have no choice but to circle the same concrete walls for their whole lives. You can't stay in quarantine for 3 months. As for healthcare, wild orcas live much longer lives than captive orcas; even though they don't get doped up with drugs and antibiotics. They are given DEAD fish- not fresh fish. Moreover, they are fed gelatine since the dead fish won't hydrate them.

They call floppy dorsal fins normal but if you ever go whale watching or watch an orca documentary, you'll rarely see wild orcas with floppy dorsal fins. Plus, orcas belong *in the sea, not $eaWorld.*

It matters not whether John no longer works at Sea World, what matters is that under the right circumstances humans and animals can develop bonds for one another . The conditions at Sea World could have been made better for the whales , but it is unlikely that the people there intentionally hurt them or mistreated them ..even for greed sake. To watch John and the whale perform is uplifting ! Who among humanity does not wish even in secret it was possible to be John for one day ,and have so much fun with a Killer whale ?

Ordinarily I do not engage , idiots or the mentally ill, you are both and need some serious medicine, also a stay in a nice padded room for 5 to 6 months. I never watched Blackfish whatever that is . I like dolpins and killer whales ,because they are intelligent creatures which is more than anyone could say for you . Under the right circumstances who would not wish to be able to interact and experience the power of these superlative mammals . I was forutnate to do it twice with humanely trained dolphins at two geographically separate wild preserves where the doplins are not captive and are free to chose to interact with humans or not . I do not know what went on behind the scenes at SeaWorld and really do not give a good f.. especially if you work there.Hargrove was rumored to have quit , not fired. Irrespective of it all , attending these shows has inspired many young students to become marine biologists and stewards of marine life.Expert ? I wonder if Takara is featured in any of the clips. From the way John spoke about Takara, you can tell that he had a special bond with with her, and will never forget her. A recent video shows him talking about Takara being pregnant, about how Seaworld announced that they would not continue with the Orca breeding program, with Takara being pregnant and all, yet they came out with that lie.

This is kind of creepy. Obviously what these trainers do is extremely physically impressive, but the fact that it is just this trainer and it focuses mainly on him and not the whale is weird, especially with the background music.
