Order the part from the link in this video. It arrived in less than 2 days. This instruction video was very helpful. Got the old pump off and new pump on with no problems. Because my washer was full of water, I figured out how to open the hood, pull out the basket and scoop all the water out of the tub before tipping the washer onto its side.

Thank you, everyone else fails to mention the shield. I couldn't figure out how it was supposed to go in. With your visuals i got it. Thank you thank you.

Thank you sir. Saved me a few hundred bucks buying a new washer. Only thing had issue with was that safety shield. Not enough play on my wiring harness. Had to cut off the rectangular part of shield, because my wiring harness was to short. Original shield seemed like original installer did same thing. Great video. Thanks so much.

For my Maytag washing machine pump part No.W10614033 is the original but I ordered another one that looks the same but with W10276397 that can be a problem that the part number is different even though the pump is identical?

What is the model number of your washer and we can verify to see which drain pump you would need.

Only thing is I have to cut part of the shield because it was rubbing with the flywheel.

Recommend removing the water from the machine with a wet vac before tilting it forward.

This looks exactly like the Maytag bravado washer pump I have, do you believe this will work with mine?

These were used on a few different ones so the video may be helpful in changing it. To make sure you get the right part you can go to our website and enter your appliance model number to view the parts breakdowns to be sure you get the correct part for your model. www.appliancepartspros.com/

AppliancePartsPros Strange thing, the tag that would have a model number is gone. But I do know this looks like the exact same pump.

anyone know the kind of pliers he used in this video?

      Water pump pliers.
Channel lok makes a version of them and generally most people will call them channies.
Blue rubberized grip. Really nice pliers.
Technically speaking the correct term is water pump pliers
