I love Sarah'S Texas accent on the train I laughed so much...the Charleses!! haha funny also Chuck when does the Russian with Shaw but really everyone was great!
Wow. They are all so good at accents. And I love her doing the Australian accent because she's Australian. And that Texas accent!! Love it, it's my accent lol. The best one in my opinion but I am biased. Yvonne and Zachary are the best!
It's a me, a Mario. Hahahaha. Best line of them all. I was actually always really impressed with the accents. I even overlooked the fact that Levi mispronounced Worcester, because that's an easy mistake to make.
The thing is, the Aussie accent she did in this video was a 'Hollywood' Australian accent, i.e. not the real thing, but rather how an American would try to sound Australian. Therefore, she's never actually talked with her natural accent
SkiDaBird I've noticed that Yvonne's accent will slip back to being Aussie on certain words or phrases. It happened once when she said "Viruses" and more noticeably during the Season 5 Final when she said, "Tell me our story."
twentyone21 I thought it was pretty natural, thought maybe not her natural voice because it was in an intellectual, formal type setting. When i first saw that scene i was really impressed with her accents until a couple weeks later when I found Yvonne was Australia.
Not really. For some odd reason, many shows I've seen have Australians pretending to be Americans! Her countrywoman Rachael Taylor was in a show about an evil landlord who rents her a haunted apartment but doesn't mention the haunted part in the lease. (I forgot the name of the show). In the show "The 4400, one of the agents was played by Jacqueline Mackenzie, who is from Sydney, New South Wales. Unfortunately, not everyone is always able to pull off the accent. I enjoy Keira Knightley in the Pirates of the Caribbean films but she couldn't pull off an American accent without sounding like she had a nasty cold in "The Jacket." Also, very early in her career, Mackenzie was TERRIBLE with an American accent but she mastered it and can fool me quite easily.
I just discovered the show a few months ago and now I finished season 5. I am German and I loved how they are constantly throughout the series make fun of the Germans and and their accent. It clearly climaxed in the last episode when they were in Berlin and when the German producer came to sign Jeffster. And I have to admit, a lot of this German stereotype is true 🤣🤣🤣
Georgia Wilksch I’d actually totally forgotten she was Australian until that moment, because Americans (everyone actually) tend to really struggle with it. When she absolutely nailed the accent, I was quite shocked, and then I remembered she was actually Australian.
"You there Jonathan. Have you unpacked the lady's luggage yet?" "One more thing John John, could you put my slippers out for tonight? That'd be very helpful. Thanks so much .Off you go, chop chop." OMGOMGOMG
One of those assassins on the train is Yvonne's partner, don't know which one though. Great that Yvonne got to use her natural voice in the first clip but they could have used the word "dunny" instead of "loo" because it is the traditional Australian nickname for "toilet"
Both very valid points, although that raises the question... do Yvonne Strahovski, Sarah Walker, and Miranda Lawson all exist as separate but equal entities in the Chuck universe?
Please upload that scene when chuck finds out. That his FATHER is orion. (And also upload the scene just before this one --he saves his father inside roark building by shooting tranq gun at guards.)
Hey guys, I need tips. I found out about Chuck on Amazon Prime a few days ago and binged watched until the middle of season 3. Now I'm stuck in a post-binging 'depression' because I've grown so attached to the characters and don't want the series to end. Should I stop watching before I get in too deep? How did you guys get closure after watching this gem of a show? ALSO, will they ever make a movie like Psych?
I know this is an older comment but I am sure the series finale was a fun time for you. Where you stopped is where it starts to get really great in my opinion. S3 - S4 is the highlight of Chuck IMO. S5 E1-10 also have some incredibly strong moments when they explore character's pasts.
Old comment, but in case you were still wondering: Aussie accents don't vary that much between states. The main distinction is between rural and urban accents, and she's definitely more urban. There's also ocker accents (eg Steve Irwin), but they're relatively rare. Yvonne's accent here is a little too posh and overly enunciated to be natural. I know she's Aussie, but she sounds more like an American trying to fake it. I suppose it could also work as someone trying to be extremely formal for a presentation.
+Jackson Haughton Yup I know that ☺️ I'm not Australian I'm Austrian I speak german. Those two Countries get confused all the time. I was talking about the scene where Chuck tries to imitate a german accent 😂
+Jackson Haughton haha no problem. I thought so because you asked me about YS's mother tongue 😂 Although AUSTRIA and AUSTRALIA are two totally different countries 😋 Europe - Australia; mountains, cows - kangaroos, and last but not least - a different language! :) Where are you from?
It's "Chuck". Maybe they have a time machine somewhere deep in the CIA vault or something... Or maybe Sarah just saw Chuck playing Mass Effect 2. You know, happens.
Yeah I've noticed that. They always do a cockney or posh voice and you can tell they're not British. There are different accents around the UK (Geordie, Cockney, Scouse, Yorkshire, West country, Brummie, Essex etc) just like the USA (New York, New Jersey, Texas, Boston, Southern etc)
Yvonne's such a good actress that she made it sound like she was faking her own accent
true
She was. That was the idea. She had to speak like how an American thinks Aussies sound.
🤣 she rocks!
@@themurph2000 Still, that's great, speaking as an Australian. Having to half screw up your own accent is definitely a skillset.
@@TheTardisDreamer I do not argue that. Most actresses would have talked like they normally do in this situation.
My favourite was Chuck's cockney accent; "Little drummer boy" and "Off you go, chop chop" XD
When the student becomes the teacher hahahah
Zach's British accent is really good!
Zac’s British accent is the best.. I’m British myself and he’s so good.
I think Sarah with the Jersey accent has to be my fave. I laughed so hard when I saw that episode.
Zachary's German accent literally makes me cry from laughing so hard, no matter how many times I hear it. 😂
Zachary Levi is amazing at accents!
Oh Gosh, I totally forgot all those hilarious accents they've all had... Such a pleasure to watch when being sad
"I made an oopsie" 😂😂
mary aleksandruk A Pewdiepie pew news reference
Her texas accent is amazing lol
I love Sarah'S Texas accent on the train I laughed so much...the Charleses!! haha funny also Chuck when does the Russian with Shaw but really everyone was great!
That was Russian?! Ooops! I thought it was German Jewish!
Zachs "Jon Jon" was fantastic
Morgan being Italian in Castle is the funniest thing ever
shoot the puppy!
Wow. They are all so good at accents. And I love her doing the Australian accent because she's Australian. And that Texas accent!! Love it, it's my accent lol. The best one in my opinion but I am biased. Yvonne and Zachary are the best!
Muh husband is gonna kick your behind! LOL
1:54 "Charlie, baby, look what I did. I made an oopsie." Yvonne is so cute :)
Zac is just incredible at accents HOW

Damn I love Chuck, wish it was still on tv!
"i made an opsie" lmao sarahis just wicked awesome
I love Chuck and Sarah's Southern accents! I laughed so much when I saw that scene!
Zack and Yvonne are so talented. and Josh
It's a me, a Mario. Hahahaha. Best line of them all. I was actually always really impressed with the accents. I even overlooked the fact that Levi mispronounced Worcester, because that's an easy mistake to make.
I feel kinda bad for Yvonne. Doing the entire show, except for a scene or 2, in an accent must be hard.
The thing is, the Aussie accent she did in this video was a 'Hollywood' Australian accent, i.e. not the real thing, but rather how an American would try to sound Australian. Therefore, she's never actually talked with her natural accent

Some Australian actors say an American accent isn't difficult. Her countrywoman Anna Torv totally nailed the accent in the show "Fringe."
Not really. For some odd reason, many shows I've seen have Australians pretending to be Americans! Jeffster hahahha
They're all freaking hilarious but Yvonnes "Texan" accent slays me every freakin time 🤣🤣🤣
She's the just the best!
Zach's country accent is spot on, that is exactly how we talk down here. His accent was good on Chuck and good on Video Game High School.
Yvonne's southern accent in 1:35 is amazing I honestly believed it was real
Can't stop laughing with the little drummer boy XD
"could we please use your phone " that was sexy
3:02 I had forgotten how hilarious the set up to this cover was. Casey is my spirit animal.
This entire video is gold. Yvonne is so talented.
i love sarahs southern accent from the train and i love chucks english accent at the french valley wine tasting :) i miss chuck...
Lol, the first time i saw this, i through "wow, that is an amazing Australian accent, nice work!" then i found our yvonne was australian
Georgia Wilksch I’d actually totally forgotten she was Australian until that moment, because Americans (everyone actually) tend to really struggle with it. When she absolutely nailed the accent, I was quite shocked, and then I remembered she was actually Australian.
Fun fact the Australian accent she uses is how an american would speak in Australian accent it isnt even her Australian accent
3:03-3:38 is the funniest scene ever!
german accent make me laugh so hard
OH MY DEAR GOD. It's Dom Monaghan.
I don't know if I can handle this, it's like awesome-ception
best tv show ever amazing cast
it it just me or does Zach sound like the king julien from madagascar at 0:31
"You there Jonathan. Have you unpacked the lady's luggage yet?" "One more thing John John, could you put my slippers out for tonight? That'd be very helpful. Thanks so much .Off you go, chop chop."
OMGOMGOMG
4:19 with Yvonne's accent is killer!! Idk how she does it.
One of those assassins on the train is Yvonne's partner, don't know which one though. Great that Yvonne got to use her natural voice in the first clip but they could have used the word "dunny" instead of "loo" because it is the traditional Australian nickname for "toilet"
The Charleseses were hilarious!
Wow! Sarah and chuck accent are great
2:30, one of the best scenes of the entire series, especially Sarah's part.
loved chuck's british accent : D
Shoota da puppy!
Sarah's British accent is ADORABLE! so is her (real life) Australian one :)
Yup agreed, Morgan's is the funniest no doubt.
Yvonne & Zach are elite at accents
the Australian accent is her own. She normally talks like that.
like the little drummer boy, come they told me parapumpumpum :P
very funny!!!
Best accent 0:35
Sarahs english accent is quite commendable however a tad posh for me
Great cast. They would do a great movie
lol
you forgot Morgan's Canadian "Hey have you seen my friend he's abou- aboot..."
Oh my goodness Chunk's British accent makes me swoon
Zachary and Yvonne did amazing accents
Morgan's is Mario's armed dealing cousin.
That texan accent was as good as the real thing!!
Zach's British accent is actually pretty good
Morgan is the best. "Shoot the puppy.". :D
Having to act bad at an accent even though u can fake it flawlessly is great talent 👏 morgan
Never really got the morgan's gangstar thing since they translated it as "shoot the boy" in italian.
That was really cruel 😂😂😂
Zachary is so funny!!

I maade an oop---sie!
ZA DEAL IS OFF !!!
This is awesome!
Loved her Daphne!
Can you do the scene where Dr. Busgang (Robert Picardo) gets shot in the leg?
Killa da pupah!
Both very valid points, although that raises the question... do Yvonne Strahovski, Sarah Walker, and Miranda Lawson all exist as separate but equal entities in the Chuck universe?
You probably dont see this comment as you posted 9 years ago. But thanks for the uploads!
Chuck's german accent kills me every time...
Left out when Chuck pretends to be Russian infront of Shaw
+Jacob Silverstein 2:48 That's the Russian part, I believe.
+Jacob Silverstein that was in there...
5:35 Its A-me. A-Mario!!
Please upload that scene when chuck finds out. That his FATHER is orion.
(And also upload the scene just before this one --he saves his father inside roark building by shooting tranq gun at guards.)

Thats her natural Australian accent. She was born there.
Off you go chop chop
you skipped a couple when they were in the train actually... or you are just focusing on their English with different accent?
0:00 - 0:18 Where the hell did Miranda Lawson come from?
The Charleseses
Do any Australians know what accent Yvonne used in the first clip? Does she sound like she's from Northern Territory, Queensland or Western Australia?
Most likely QLD
It's more like Yvonne did what an American would do as an Australian accent. She tweaked her accent a bit.
Old comment, but in case you were still wondering: Aussie accents don't vary that much between states. The main distinction is between rural and urban accents, and she's definitely more urban. There's also ocker accents (eg Steve Irwin), but they're relatively rare.

FUCK THE ENDING, HEARTBREAKING!
I'm Austrian:) Do we really sound like that, when we speak english 😅 😂
Do you know Yvonne strahovski is actually Australian? Imo that's just a slightly exaggerated way of how she actually talks
+Jackson Haughton Yup I know that ☺️ I'm not Australian I'm Austrian I speak german. Those two Countries get confused all the time. I was talking about the scene where Chuck tries to imitate a german accent 😂
+LaPoppii haha I just read Austrian as Australian
+Jackson Haughton haha no problem. I thought so because you asked me about YS's mother tongue 😂 Although AUSTRIA and AUSTRALIA are two totally different countries 😋 Europe - Australia; mountains, cows - kangaroos, and last but not least - a different language! :)
Where are you from?
+LaPoppii oh yeah I know there two seperate countries
I've lived in Australia since I was two but I was born in England.
It's "Chuck". Maybe they have a time machine somewhere deep in the CIA vault or something... Or maybe Sarah just saw Chuck playing Mass Effect 2. You know, happens.
morgan,s was the best HANDS DOWN
Tcrumpen, perhaps you don't talk like that but for an American it is damn good
I hate the Stereotypical British accent most American actors do .... being British myself, WE DON'T TALK LIKE THAT :þ
Yvonne sounds like Emma stone doing an accent.
THey had pendulum on the show lol
Yvonne is Australian -.-

Namaste!😂...did i did to speak all that i selecyes...😜.😎😭...
