Impact of Budget on Real Estate

This video gives clarity on new tax laws as per recent budget July 2024. Some says it will affect adverse impact on real estate market, some says it will impact in a good way. However, as per our understanding it will impact good or bad, depends on case-to-case basis. If you hold a property for a longer period 5-10 years or more and ROI is not very good (less than twice/ thrice), then LTCG tax will be more, it is an adverse impact. If you picked a right high value real estate asset, where in 2-3 years ROI is 2/3 times, then LTCG tax will be less, it is a good impact.
Therefore always pick a right property in a right location, from a right builder and book at a right time.
