Thank you for watching Jay! ☺️
Thank you Julie! This was my first time viewing your program. Thank you so much for such good information! I look forward to applying it in my home.
🙄
@@rosemaryklass5700 Julie is great! I was furnishing my apartment at the time when I started watching her videos, and she helped me tremendously! I applied her knowledge to my apartment and I love it! ❤️
Past lifetimes, that's all! LOL!
Im absolutely loving your feng shui content! So much information but not overwhelming especially for beginners like me who would like to start using feng shui in my home. Would love to see more feng shui videos dealing with the kitchen , the bathroom/toilet, laundry? and also front yard and backyard if possible. love love loveee this content thank you so much for posting ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you for watching Ms T! I’ve touched on all those areas, check out my Feng Shui playlist for more tips and inspiration 🙏🏻☺️
The goal of my life is to have good Chi everywhere!
Yes!! 🙌🏻
Your videos on Feng Shui are so extremely helpful Julie. I have just recently downsized from a double storey with a huge garden to a TINY granny cottage, which is all the rooms are in one straight row, the doors to each room are on the same side. I believe this must have been storage rooms in the past (it is on a farm). To apply Feng Shui in each room is very hard so I am super grateful for your last comment... "don't take it too seriously" 🥰 (I have to downsize a lot more but I am so not getting rid of my favourite couch, just yet 😐 At this stage I am tossing up whether the back door is my front door or vice versa ...couch fits if I use the "back door" as my front door 😂
Julie. This is awesome. Thank you, you have to do kitchen setup, outside door entry with feng shui. Great job.
Me too! My entry way outside is not symmetrical...would love to see ideas!
Thank you for watching Akosua and Annette! I’ll work on it 👍🏻☺️

I luv to see more feng shui for kitchen and a courtyard in the home and where a water element can be added in the courtyard.
The north sector of the courtyard is best for a water feature Sujatha 👍🏻☺️

Julie, I truly love you!! I'm redecorating my living room now. I'm going to watch this multiple times and let it sink in to my cluttered brain. ;)
Map it out first and let each corner reveal itself Laurie. No need to address them all at once, just like interior design 🙌🏻☺️
Thank you, I took your advise and moved my furniture around. I loved how my living room felt when I pulled all the furniture forward toward the center of the room leaving a space around the perimeter of room. I like how it feels airier and pulls in the sitting area for conversations. I’m thinking of buying an area rug to designate the space.
YES!!!! 🙌🏻 You get it now Leticia! Feels cozier and actually bigger, don’t you think?! 😄
Thank you 🙏🤗🌹
Thank you for your ideas.
Thank you for watching Jerri 🙏🏻☺️
Thank you Julie! I have enjoyed and benefited from every one of your videos I've so far. And I couldn't have found this one at a more auspicious time - I am in the process of purchasing a new home. I especially appreciate your caution at the start of this vid against getting caught up by what isn't possible. I am enjoying the challenge of seeking ways to invite Chi to flow and linger.
I am enriched by your generous sharing of your knowledge.
Thank you for watching and providing your feedback Brian! This helps immensely to know what’s working for the viewers 👍🏻☺️
Hi Julie, thank you for the new content on Feng Shui. It's one of my favourite topics. I admire your plant collection, it would be nice for you to share some tips on which plant does best in which room and what kind if lighting and care required. Do you recommend plants in the bedroom?
I’ll definitely work out a video for best plants for Feng Shui. Plants in the bedroom are tricky- they should only be used to cure challenges since plants are yang energy and bedrooms are yin.
Wow! This was wonderful information. Thank You! 🙏
Thank you for watching Monica 🙏🏻☺️
Love this information thanks for sharing ‼️
Thank you for watching Ruth 🙏🏻☺️
I love this series. Thank you for sharing your wisdom!
Do you have any tips on how to apply fengshui for open concept apartments where the kitchen, living/dining room and bedroom are in one big space?
Thank you for watching Alexis! Yes, overlay the entire bagua map onto your floor plan and divide the grid accordingly 👍🏻
@@JulieKhuu I was wondering the same as my livingroom and dining room are one long rectangle. Thanks!
This might be your best video to date. So much information and easy to understand in 20 minutes!!! You rock.
Interestingly I didn’t know any of these feng shui for the living room and I’m already doing a lot of them.
So Julie, why do some people naturally just do it? what does it mean when people do it naturally?
You’re totally in tune with your space 🙌🏻☺️
Awesome video Julie! Thanks.

Thank you so much for making this easier to follow. I've followed Feng Shui for many years and tried to incorporate as much as I could. Your Bagua explanation and methodology was brilliant! Please do more. xx
Awesome, so glad I can share my methods of practice Martine 🙏😊

How is your ficus tree progressing?
Thank you for watching Pat! Ficus is doing amazing! I’ll share more in stories this weekend! 🪴
Hi Julie. I've just discovered your videos and really loved this one in particular. I have a few questions... I live in London, UK and my house is about 120yrs old (which is pretty standard for the UK and not considered that old). I have quite a small, late victorian/Edwardian house but the original fireplace, (which we still use) is placed on the northwest wall, with all the corners of the rooms being either true north, south etc. etc. I was wondering if you have any suggestions for making this space more harmonious? Or even advice for people with older houses where it's not really appropriate to reposition things. Thanks so much. xx
Northwest is a metal corner, so place metal objects in and around the fireplace to ignite the metal element Catherine
Thank you Julie! So right time for me! On vacation starting today!!! Keep this kind of videos! Love it!
Thank you for watching Arlene 🙏🏻☺️
I love this video and all your Feng Shui videos Julie! Please keep them coming! ❤️🙏🏽
Thank you for watching Sharmila! I appreciate your support 🙏🏻☺️
Very good! Thanks, Julie. I used to use these principles. I have moved so much around since the pandemic started. Spread seating out to combine living and dining room as one big space. You are so right. Things change. Your first point was so key - declutter. I find if I stay on top of that and keep things clean and in good repair, life is better.
Reduce the clutter and you’ll never have to “clean” a day in your life JM! 🙌🏻
Thank you Julie, it was great!!👍 I will enjoy following the rules without being too serious and nervous. As you said, it’s all about how we feel in our living space. Thanks again for the guidance, and the chart was so helpful!❤️
Thank you for watching Y! 🙏🏻☺️

I am totally hooked and smitten! Just found your channel Julie and find you so talented and informative. I know I'm a little late to the party, but really enjoying every video - and just love the whole TJ Maxx story about how this all began. I never really thought about Feng Shui before, but found this completely fascinating and am eager to apply it in my new home. My biggest challenge is that my home is situated on a cul-de-sac and therefore on an angle which positions my living room's primary/focal wall on the southeast wall of the room (while the corners of the room face N, S, E and W.) A floor to ceiling built-in bookcase takes up the entire southeast wall. It is devoid of windows thought the entire northeast wall is a sliding glass door. The southwest portion is where my 92" sofa sits with a long console table behind it. This is sort of the dividing point between my living and dining rooms. Any thoughts on how to better achieve good chi in this type of floorplan?
Thank you for watching Jane! My childhood home was on a cul-de-sac and all our corners were angles as well. This is how I first learned to apply the map- it can be done! In this case, focus on placing large furniture away from the entries and alongside the rear/ largest walls. It will help open up the rooms and allow chi to flow and meander. Colors help to fill up the elemental corners and directions. Good luck!
Loving the series❤!
DO you have any tips or suggestions on what we can do if the 🔥 fireplace is in the north part of our livingroom?!😬
Also, our condo is an open concept with the dining room & living room basically being like one big rectangle; what is the best way to separate the two spaces without blocking the flow of chi?
& last question: our front entrance is on the first floor with an open foyer & staircase to the 2nd floor where the rest of our entire living area is (its a 2nd story condo)... does this have any sort of impact on anything? I'm thinking because its pretty open that its fine & I actually love the space & high ceilings in the area, but if the 1st floor entrance is an issue is there anything we can do to help keep the chi flowing up & in to/through the actual living space?!
I'd love to hear your thoughts if/when you get a chance! We're actually moving in this week & haven't even picked out our living room furniture yet and I really want to make sure I get the best furniture for the space, so I'm not rushing into it. (But I also don't want our guests to end up sitting on the floor either though!😳
I look forward to hearing what u think. Thank you so much! 🙏🏼
You should be a professor. I could listen to you and your ideas forever!
Thank you for watching Cowboy 🙏🏻☺️
Really enjoyed this. Thx Julie
Thank you for watching Amaka 🙏🏻💕
Thanks so much Julie. Such a great series.
I am struggling with deciding on a couch/ sofa for my home. Please can you do a series on sofa styling. I was considering a brown leather couch but think it’s too masculine and not sure about an upholstered couch. Please help.
Thanks
Yes. Couch buying is a struggle. A show on furniture pieces. Ie things you sit on. Then things you put things on or in. Things you sleep on. Best materials for different buyers. Kids pets multi generational households. A new series for you!
I have a video on purchasing big ticket items like sofas in the Dream Space series Thembelihle- check it out 👍🏻☺️
Julie, Thanks so much! I love this info and am looking forward to moving things around a bit. I was able to find a Lillian Too book (168 Ways to Success) as you recommended and was able to get my Kua Number and much more. We’ve just added some hard wood to our stairs so as soon as touch ups are done I need to get my entrance set up. Thanks again for all this info, I enjoyed this video! Yes, I’d love more Feng Shui, it certainly can’t hurt to get all energies in the right place right?
Awesome! She provides super detailed Feng Shui information in her own terms, love that you’re continuing your practice Deb! 🙌🏻☺️
Great information, thank you.

Thank you so much Miss Julie for your advice💖
Thank you for watching Diana 🙏🏻☺️
Does this apply to the Southern Hemisphere Julie or does the compass settings need to be reversed?
Fabulous question!
Compass settings need to be reversed Brett. Feng Shui originated in China/ northern hemisphere so the North element of water would be South= Water/ North= Fire for those living in the Southern Hemisphere. I need to make another video that spells this out! Thank you for watching and the feedback 👍🏻
@@JulieKhuu - I’m contemplating…should I move to Australia or completely change the furniture in my house around…🤔😂
Really good question!
Thank you Julie. I live in the southern hemisphere (Chile) and my feng shui master applies that same logic. To us the north is the place of the fire element as the sun is at its peak in the north and our north is warm. The south is our darkest, coldest direction and is the place of the water element.
thanks for this, jk! i am happy to say that my living room is pretty much following feng shui guidelines, and that's no surprise b/c i often get accolades from visitors about how much they love the room. i wonder if they can feel the FS vibe. question--can a big, sunny, bay window count as light instead of having lamps/candles/light source?
Yes, absolutely if your keep your windows open Adrienne 👍🏻☺️
Always love your content.

Thank you so much. I have a question. How do you map a room with an open concept. Living room, kitchen & dining room all one room.
Did you see the two grids I mapped out? You can use the living area only or the whole shabang Patricia! Whichever your family uses the most for daily activities
I would love to see how you've applied Feng shui in your own home!
