- McDonald's versus Tim Horton's. I am only using packs from the 2000's because I truly believe McDonald's 3D packs and their Ice packs from the 1990's are superior looking cards than the cards in the 2000's.
McDonald's used various companies to print their cards: Pinnacle, Prism and Upper Deck which resulted with innovative card designs.
Tim Horton's has used Upper Deck to design their cards. Competition resulted in creativity as opposed to one manufacturer. Hence why all the Tim's cards look similar throughout the years.
Tim Horton has better inserts while McDonald's has better base cards, in my humble opinion. Please join me as I rip these packs and pull numerous Hall of Famers.

Been some really nice designs and inserts over the years. The highly decorated insert of Stammer is nice. Some of the 16/17 game day action cards are nice looking as well. Fun trip through the years Pat.
They both had some great looking cards. I think I'm leaning McDonalds

There is a canvas cards I am missing for my set. It was from the Boston team.
I'm looking to finish my binder and I am getting so close. On the 2019 - 2020. I am missing 17 cards!
On the 2023 Legends. I am missing 38 cards and mostly base cards.
I did find Recchi and another canvas you were searching. Didnt have anything in the Tim's lineup that you wanted, sorry

I think the tip of the hat goes to Ronald McHorton's. I agree with you. Mcdonalds overally and Horton's for the inserts. It's a toss up.
