The last version of this figure you showed is the 30th Saga Legends 501st (initial release). It was the best version because it didn't have the mud apps on his boots and he doesn't have a hard plastic torso, so he doesn't yellow. I've had several for YEARS and they are still extremely white. The Tactical Ops was always off white(even when brand new), just like the AT-TE tank gunner.
If you know how to customize and can add the arms from an antenna mold as well as the head from the antenna mold, I feel you have the most accurate ROTS Clone trooper. Because the new ones are somewhat bulky, unlike the ROTS movie clones, which have slightly more heroic proportions.
I might try that custom someday. The new clones are great, but something about this one and the antenna mold are hard to beat.
Agreed I have three of the tactical ops trooper and straight outta the box they are an off white. Yet still I love it it is one of my favorite figures
still hope vc45 can continue maybe make 3 pack of trooper we don't have yet like 91st. and mostly clone wars vc45 phase 1 clone repaints.
Judging by the Clone Lieutenant revealed today, I have a feeling the vc45 mold will not be revisited unfortunately.
