A while back, I tried to get the Rush racing games to play because I wanted to see how well my old system would play them. I never did get any of them to work. No matter what files I tried giving it, it always complained that it was missing something. Full disclosure: I have an OLD system that has an OLD version of Windows. I downloaded the last version of MAME that would run for me. I know there are tools that are supposed to analyze your ROMS and tell you what's missing, but strangely enough, versions of such programs, that will run on my system, don't seem to exist. At least I couldn't find any. I guess such tools only came into existence in the last 5-6 years or so. Strangely enough that seems to happen with almost any utility I search for. Weird how nobody seems to have ever written anything for any older versions of Windows...
There is a Program called ClrMamePro. I've got to admit, I've not used it on old hardware. Personally, I manage the roms down on a fast computer then transfer the finished roms to the Mame PC. Regardless, Thanks fornchecking out the Channel.
@@TechicallyTNT Unfortunately, ClrMamePro doesn't work for me. My old computer and version of Windows just isn't capable of such advanced tasks as displaying text in a window, reading files from disk, and displaying a toolbar. :( As I recall, there was another tool that could be used to alter ROM sets so that they conformed to a specific version of MAME, but alas, that's too complex a task for older computers as well. Honestly, I'm starting to wonder what people were using computers for 10-20 years ago, when they obviously weren't capable of doing anything at all.
