First, I have to say that the video is probably the best I have ever seen when rating/reviewing the ski resort. Second, have you guys been to Whistler Blackcomb (my favorite resort in North America) ?? If yes, how would you compare it to some of the Austrian Ski Resorts, such as: Solden, St. Anton, Stubai, Ischgl?? I will be staying in Innsbruck during February of 2017. Can't wait !!!

Thanks V-Yan, glad you enjoyed the video. Make sure you check out the '7 in 7' videos for the other resorts you mentioned.
In answer to your question, yes a number of people at the Ski Club have been to Whistler and unsurprisingly they absolutely loved it. It's always difficult to compare resorts in Europe to those in North America and Canada because they have a very different vibe. Obviously Whistler is a really special place and on it's day it takes some beating, but the resorts you mentioned are also incredibly special and we love skiing the Tirol. As always it will depend heavily on what conditions you get and most importantly who you're skiing with.
From Innsbruck there are literally dozens of resorts (many that are world famous) within a short drive of the City centre.....you can even get from the centre of the town to the top of the Nordkette within 20 minutes which is pretty crazy. All of the resorts you've mentioned are worth visiting for very different reasons. If you're looking to Freeride then St Anton takes some beating and the terrain at Soelden can be incredibly steep and challenging. If you're more of a Piste skier then Soelden, Stubai and St Anton all offer the goods. If snow conditions are challenging, or you fancy skiing some incredibly wide open pistes then Stubai is a great place to visit (especially with the new lift). You'll be blown away by the skiing in the Tirol and Austrian hospitality.
      Have a great season!

thanks for detail feedback. You guys should come and do some reviews of Canadian/US Ski Resorts from European point of view.

Hi, very nice video! When have you been there and was the snow pleasant to drive or rather icy? We are planning visiting stubai at the end of december.

Road clearing across the Tirol is always very good so you shouldn't have problems with ice

Don’t let those snowcat drivers run you over! They try to hide their mistake and bury you in a crevasse.
