This mini game is the easiest and most unfair mini game ever! If you mash the B button fast enough as the solo player and mess up on all obstacles, you can literally still escape!
They are always on hard AI when playing on Mini Game Island, so they weren't going to fail there. I mean, you can see just how... intelligent... that AI is on other games where the runner literally plays with them, but in games where all they have to do is not fuck up inputs or timing? Yeah, they won't.

I achieved this record somehow 8 times and then I took a break from playing for a few years and after that time I already fell out of the rhythm that allowed me to do so. I assure you, however, that if I had to play it today, I think that I would easily make it to 18 seconds to the end. I was so good at this game that without cheating no one could beat me in every mini-game and consequently no one wanted to play it with me any longer.
