Italian Blacksmith Carlo Galgani

The blacksmith, Carlo Galgani is almost the last representative of a dynasty that has been working with hot metal for over five centuries.
His workshop, also called “distendino” because it “stretches” the red-hot iron is at Piè Lucese in the comune of Pescaglia and is probably the very last distendino left with all of its machinery powered by water.
Carlo is still working a 12 hour day starting at 7 am but he is now no longer working on his own as his nephew joins him sometimes, keeping the family tradition alive.
Carlo makes simple tools that are for sale and accepts commissions.

Forse il problema può essere se potrebbe servire qualche punto di saldatura tra la parte piatta e la parte finale del manico o forse non serve la saldatura.

Signor Carlo, se non ho sentito male le è stato chiesto da quei signori se le poteva costruire una mestola artigianale, lei Carlo, le ha risposto che non le fa queste cose, secondo me è un errore, signor carlo, cosi si è un po' chiuso in se stesso, lei è capace di fare una mestola è come fa i manici per i coltelli potrebbe farli per la mestola, non la ripagherebbe la soddisfazione di avere fatto felice un cliente è a lei stesso di avere fatto una cosa nuova? Scusi se mi sono permesso ma ci tenevo a dirle la mia opinione.

Non ho fatto caso se lei ha una saldatrice essendo un fabbro, di solito un fabbro c'è l'ha.
