🤣🤣🤣
I bought a small scale because of watching your other videos and it’s been great. I can get a real good estimate on what I have.
Same here bud
That's awesome guys. And it makes it kind of fun once you start seeing how much things weigh
Very cool video
Great tips! Awesome video my friend!
Nice 1, Mike. Scrapper from the UK.
Great tips and information /cheers
Great video! Great tips and tricks! My scrap operation is 1.25 years old, and I have been trying to find more ways to get more scrap metal. I should try to use some of your tips and tricks.
you and drill bit are an awesome couple.. great team
We've been friends for 30 years. Which helps a lot
Great video dude, love watching your videos all ways get a laugh. I just bought a 20 ft utility trailer it has opened up a whole new world for me for scrap collecting and I just got in with a local business that does junk clean outs and they drop the scrap of at my house
That is awesome.. When the stuff starts coming to you, it just makes things that much easier.. In scrap metal, it's all about making connections with people. The more people that trust you Well lead Two more pick up because word of mouth..
That's awesome! Maybe I should try that.
This is the sacrp rat 🐀. Thank you
Thanks for the info!! Great!!
Great video! Thx for the tips!
#2 is the biggest thing for me nowadays. I just let it ride, anything more I feel like I'd never have any time.
These are the types of videos where you hit the back button a couple times
I love your videos Mike I do all the stuff you do on a smaller scale I have room and a setup like you do
Just got rid of all my steel so now I can have room to hold the good stuff
Well, you better get clean into good stuff. Because the prices are really good at the moment
You are awesome I like your video
Thanks
Yeah, scrapping does take time you just have to know where to look
I love part time scrapping. You would make a awesome neighbor Mike
I was watching and waiting for you to say your word is your bond but you got it great vids keep it up 👍😎
HI Mike. You are a world class scrapper. When you guys in America say Tin what is that? Is it household appliances etc. Here in the UK we call that Light Iron. Keep up the class work Mike. Your the man. Also do you have merchandise
Yeah, things such as appliances and anything that is light metal.. We call tin /light lron/ Shred.. That's basically anything that is not a heavy steel or cast iron..
@@Adventureswithmike1 Brilliant thanks alot for your great advice. Over here in the UK we don't have the size of pickup trucks you do in PA we mainly use box vans with a payload of roughly a toone. What was the first vehicle you had when you started recycling metal. Also what app do you use please to check the the current metal market price World wide. Thanks alot legend
@JackHuggonson My first truck was a 1986 Ford. F250. Which was a full size truck
@@Adventureswithmike1 Hi Mike. What app would you recommend to keep upto on the scrap metal market for price etc?
@@JackHuggonson Actually I don't use one
Great video
My goal right is to buy a new 16 foot dump trailer. To use for scrap and rent out to friends.
Just be careful with renting it out. Sometimes I feel like people don't care about things that aren't theirs. As much as if it was their own.
I do the same but I want to open my own recycling company
That's one of my main goals and what i've been working up to
I take old propain tanks trade them in to one of those tank exchange places and I’m resell them online for 40 bucks each
Keep up the good work and great videos 👍😎🇺🇸
Thanks
That was a awesome video and I learned alot from you I'm just starting out myself thanks for the help your friend Shawn dragon from Staley nc
I'm glad I could help. I made a lot of small mistakes when I was starting out and if I could have gotten more information at the time, it would have been extremely helpful.. But with that said times have changed. It's not the same thing, it was 20 years ago or more... It's actually easier now to get material if you know how to basically network yourself.. Don't think of yourself as a scrapper. Think of yourself as a businessman
Thank you Mike, do you have a specific way of scrapping out the motors for copper?
I do not strip the copper out of electric motors in my eyes. It's a lot of work. But if you have nothing but time, I guess it's worth it to get the copper. Being that prices are high.. You only average 1-3 pounds Of copper per motor and those are the bigger ones. Most of the smaller ones takes 3or4 just too get even a pound.
facebook.com/share/r/cXcpx8g8UKV5BJE6/?mibextid=0VwfS7 In this video, the gentleman uses what's called an electronic air hammer makes it look easy, but it's still a massive pain in the ass.
wish i had a guy to sell some of my stuff on ebay or whatever , every time i try to sell stuff i lose money or piss someone off. we have an auction house near us but they get 30% so usually not worth it.
Yeah, he takes all the lawn mowers. Snow blowers and things of that nature plus other stuff fix them, ans sell them and half of the money
You live in Columbus Ohio?
No, but I have friends that live around that area.. I'm in pennsylvania
@@Adventureswithmike1 oh ok I’m 2hrs away from Columbus i live in Cincinnati Ohio and they pay $3.15 for bare bright
Mike. I love the content but not the new camera. The fisheye is just too hard to watch. Can you change the look.
It's vivid and great audio
It sort of makes me seasick
Yes, something i'm working on is getting the right setting while i'm filming..

Yes, I'm happy with the camera. It's a little hard to get used to. I had it in the wrong setting when I was filming.. But like everything it's a learning process
