- Welcome to my channel!
In this week's video I am sharing one way to explore a colour palette that makes sense to me! It might make sense to you as well.
I am using the colours as a guide in order to create cohesive collage papers that will fit together easily! One less thing to think about, right? I chose to omit the Aqua Green this time. The next stage, Part - #2 will be adding marks, line, and writing. Enjoy!
Intuitive art journaling is not about perfection or end results but creating intuitive marks that uncover my true voice, revealing deeper meaning and emotional connection. Slowing down, being present can help you express your innermost self, create with intention, and bring powerful authenticity into your art.

Love the idea of planning your colors ahead of time with your grid sheet next to you.
I just got a gelli plate for Christmas and I’ve played with it once. I love the idea of having a palette of color to inspire the prints. Thanks so much for sharing!
Going in with a preconceived vision always results in disappointment and frustration. I tend to be a go with the flow by the seat of my pants kind of person! I love the palette you're using and can see great potential with it!
Hi Michele. I love playing with the gel plates! I also use one for my palette so no paint is wasted. I like to try different techniques and one that I love for a distressed look is adding some baby powder on the paint before the pull. You get amazing results 😊
Thanks so much! I’ll have to try that, love how you’re always sharing great ideas!😊
@ always nice to help each other 😊
Do I think ahead? Heck no! I fly by the seat of my pants…
