  • Michael Distefano and Frankie Corrado are joined by Brian Burke to remember Johnny Gaudreau and discuss what he meant to USA Hockey and the Calgary Flames. Al’s Brother and Frankie are joined by co-host of GoJo and Golic, Mike Golic Jr, to discuss Dak Prescott and Ja’Marr Chase’s contract negotiations, and if the Chiefs could run a play drawn up by Taylor Swift this season.

    Whose bright idea was the Boston Pizza ad "ice cold pints out on the patio" as the lead in to a story about 2 men killed by a drunk driver?

      That's what happens when a country is run by two telecom companies. They don't give a fuck about communities. They only care about their bottom line and here they are profiting off of a tragedy.

    I have authored two books about NCAA hockey history and wrote about Johnny extensively in both. He was U.S. college hockey's last 80-point scorer in 2014, and I don't think we'll ever see another player surpass 80 points. The closest since then were Jack Eichel and Kyle Connor, who each only got to 71.
    Burkie, who played at Providence College, understands how much Gaudreau meant to Boston College and NCAA hockey as a whole. This is a difficult day.

    As a player, I think JG was special in the way that he came into the offensive zone...unique really. The sudden stops, spins, backtracks all created time...1 to 3 seconds which allowed his line to follow. When he was with the Flames I am pretty sure they had set plays base on what JG did carrying the disk. JG does this then we do that.

    Unfortunately this tragic accident does not surprise me. New Jersey roads are as dangerous as I’ve ever seen. Passing on a shoulder is what caused these deaths and I see dangerous illegal stunts like this every day. Our police are looking for easy tickets at speed traps and not driving on the roads in unmarked cars looking for the real bad drivers. I had a pick up truck today tailgating me at high speed while I was going the upper speed limit trying to intimidate me to get out of his way. Where are the police? This guy who killed Johnny and his brother should not have been on the road.

      I don't understand the point you are trying to make but it certainly sounds like you just graduated from DARE class, lol.
      Depressants and depression are not related in the way you are maybe attempting to show. You just listed some random info like a chatbot.

    • @tripsaplenty1227
      @tripsaplenty1227 15 дней назад

      @fofflol
      ok. your source is a calendar date? We got a real scientist here. What did you cherry pick that from? No mention of dose, frequency of drinking sessions, tolerance, genetics, etc. That little tidbit is very generic info and isn't really applicable to a few drinking sessions. Yes if total drunks don't drink they get irritable, get the DTs, and they actually can die from withdrawal. If a casual drinker has a few too many their next day is a normal day. It's not that profound an effect on the brain when it's isolated sessions or regular low dose drinking. Your stomach or head will hurt more than the hormones in your brain being disrupted/imbalanced. That doesn't happen to significant degree right away.

    • @tripsaplenty1227
      @tripsaplenty1227 15 дней назад

      @fofflol
      CNS depressant means your breathing and heart beat slows and your blood pressure usually lowers. It doesn't mean it is disrupting the hormones in your brain(depression disorder). You are making a connection that isn't there because the words look similar.
      Also you are clearly a 🤖.

    I'm a Sens fan (but not a Leafs hater), and can advise the Leafs to stay the hell away from Kubalik. Hoffman, JVR, aren't the answer either in my opinion. They should probably try and snatch up a decent KHL player for a role in their bottom six. Great show boys!
