Just want to give a BIG THANKS for giving me a Nostalgia Moment! Back when my dad was still alive and I was in my later years of high school (2007 or 2008). My dad was a member of a Medieval Reenactment group called the SCA or Society of Creative Anachronism in the Kingdom of Trimaris. Our church had this annual fall festival thing going on and I don’t know how it was started but my dad and his buddies with my help build a trebuchet and used it to chuck Pumpkins at my church’s annual festival thing. Loads of fun and laughs, you and yours would have had a blast if you were there!
From the title I thought you were giving away airsoft stuff to teenagers and new players... but a catapult like that is every boys dream ever since it was invented, well done guys

That is actually some nice woodwork, working from a model was something people did in the medieval times, whole castles where build based on what would look to us like wooden toy castles! Warm greetings from the Netherlands🇳🇱.

I loved the medieval times since I was a kid and i too always want to build one but the one i want to build is the war wolf that was built by the English. some trebuchets have a sling on the end of the arm and the winch would be at the end of the run to prevent the problem you had to allow for bigger projectile and where you have the arm it would be higher to prevent the counter weight hitting the run way some pointers for you to have
just to make it airsoft legal you have to attach a bunch of airsoft BB grenades and send them ~120m away, and you can now call this a trebuchet mortar strike. PS : sorry for my poor english ( not my first language obvioulsy )

I totally thought he bought the one Todd is selling. Sliiightly disappointed but this is still sick! Not used to this here, but I prefer medieval stuff to airsoft anyway. I like how this feels like an older video too, more casual than it's been lately. :)
I alos made a trebuche but i uses strong hold crusader picelated model as my refrence. So the second one was great used a 2l milk jug as counterwheit and could toss a projectile 20 meters. Edit: forgot tonad your is more simpler. Mine used a sling whit one atached to the trebuche and at the aipex it one of the ends of the trebuche sling would pop up the hook and releases the projectile only. Also mine was made fully out of old wooden window frames and only metal parts are the acel for the trovindnarm and rerese and ujust mechanisam.
