Love this video. I’m working this winter on creating a little more club speed. I want to learn how to use my entire person to generate swing speed. I have been a powerlifter and bodybuilder. Sequencing the body and using ground force has been a hard coordination for me. By the way, it looked identical to Michael Jordan’s jump, 48” vertical. Lol

Try keeping your back straight and twist your body with the swing keeping both feet balanced works for me, the power i can generate is crazy

That's great! I do worry about twisting the back if not done properly can lead to problems for people, but getting some turn definitely helps and is one way to generate some more speed!

@@scotthogangolf More e.g is twist the legs, never the back, just swing the club back and forward keeping your shoulders back with no ball till you get the rhyme (think of it like tug of war, you wanna be almost leaning back when you swing and letting your legs twist and try not to bend them). it sounds silly but I'll practice just the motion that feels natural for years. The furthest I've hit the ball at the driving range was well over 450M (hit the net round halfway up)

Seems to be working well, keep it going!

@@scotthogangolf another tip (this took me a while to get use to) was to not over do it with the swing and focus more on middling the contact on the face of the club when you go to hit the ball, it will always fly straight when you've got it (even with wind) I did have to buy gloves cause I would get really bad blisters practicing because my grip was a baseball type grip not the linking fingers type that golfers use (what ever works for you but might be good to try) oh and keep your head up and straight with your back, try not to tilt your head forward (that always put me off if I didn't do it right) hoping this helps you double your goal, we have similar shape bodies so I know you can do it
