"Screams and laughter" is there any better combination? This movie is so good. Especially Jack black. He really takes the part of "teenage girl stuck in grown man's body" and roles with it.
@@nickreacts6394yes he does. I loved him in this. But my Favorite Jack Black movies are KUNG FU PANDAs. I love that Brian Cranston ( BREAKING BAD) plays POs dad in 3 & 4
When Alan was sucked into jumanji, it was a consequence of rolling the dice and he was still himself. When Alex was sucked in, he picked an avatar (the avatars are part of the game as thus do not change), so he would have no reference of time.
This one’s my favorite, esp jack black. The actress that played Ruby (Martha in jumanji) played nebula in guardians of the galaxy/avengers,and I loved that she had some super hero moves here💜
Even sans Jack Black, Beth was my favourite character because despite being the self involved vacuous girl at the start she adapted so quickly (after her initial justified reaction) into being selfless, open and accepting. It almost makes me mad that it was in her all along.
You guys are legit the absolute cutest I’m watching you with my fiancé and we adore your chemistry reminds us of our own. So awesome you two ❤️🔥 ps. We can’t wait for you to one day visit Egypt 🍃
Im a subscriber, and honestly you guys are the only reason I even check RUclips. Amazing reaction 😂 pls don’t forget to get the last one, “Jumanji: The Next Level”
I don't think can compare the films, they're both great, the first one is more about tension and survival, this one is more adventurous and comedy, they're both great, I particularly rewatch the second one more because it's funnier
It's so hard to pick which is my favorite, because all 3 have a core story with character development. They all have comedy that makes you laugh a lot too, even though they have different vibes. I think I have to go with 1 as my favorite though beacause of Robin Williams just being the master of combining humor & heartache. # 3 is soo close to winning though. All 3 have good stories underneath the silly fun. ❤
I didn't know what to expect with these two, except I love Dwane and Kevin together, plus I loooove Jack Black. I was not disappointed in the least with these newer Jumanjis. PS if you love the duo of The Rock and Kevin Hart, also add to list, Central Intelligence.
I didn't think I was going to like this movie when I first saw it, but I did. I got another movie reaction suggestion for you guys it's one of my favorites. The Final Countdown (1980) The U.S.S. Nimitz goes back to December 6th, 1941. It's filmed on the Nimitz. It's like Top Gun meets Back to the Future.
First of all ty for reacting great job I love this movie and did you notice the one that played Spence. Pretty game also played the son in hereditary and the awkward girl the dance fighter I believe played nebula in endgame
I reallly can't pick between the 2. I think you perfectly summed it up with one is was more of a comedy and one is way more of an adventure. I grew up with the first one for that for sure has to nostalgia factor to it, I'll never forget watching it on VHS (because im old now lol) with my family and it was super engaging for everyone. But recently ibhad my mom and dad watch this version and its just a really good time and doesnt take itself too serious. It also didnt try to be the original, they managed to make it its own thing and i find that very impressive.
If you haven’t done so, you need to watch the original version with Robin Williams as this version has items in it that show his time in the game (the house where they’re drinking for one, sign says it was built by Alan). Cheers
47:45 - JACK BLACK MOVIE RECOMMENDATIONS: Your fist four Jack Black movies... ALL Kung Fu Panda movies and 'School of Rock'. Follow these with 'King Kong' and Gulliver's Travels.
I loved the original and this one was so much fun too. Karen Gillan (Martha) is from Scotland, she plays Nebula in Guardians If the Galaxy. Bobby Cannavale (Van Pelt) costars in my favorite movie, The Station Agent (2003). Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart are delightful together in Central Intelligence (2016). Jack Black is perfect in School of Rock (2003). Alex Wolff was most recently in Oppenheimer (2023).
Loved the reaction, you two are so adorable! I have to go with this one being better and the sequel to this one Jumanji the Next Level is my favorite of them all. You two have to check that one out next! It’s the third part of the trilogy. It’s definitely my favorite. “Jumanji the Next Level”
Loved this reaction, one of my favorite movies of all time! And to answer your question, I would say the way the elephant scene was handled was very realistic. Adult bull (male) elephants, especially African elephants like what was shown here, don't have any natural predators, so a few jaguars wouldn't be an issue in the slightest. An abnormally large lion pride may try to take an adult cow (female) elephant which is about half the mass of a bull elephant, but even that is exceptionally rare.
Most games have a continue option when you run out of lives, nick Jonas only thought he been there 2 weeks, he's lost his 3 lives many times just don't remember cause he respawn from the last save point, it's only makes since you don't actually die in jumanji
I like this one better. It is a complete movie, with a great ensemble cast and interesting story. The first one was fun but it was designed to feature Robin Williams. He was the movie.
I don't think I can pick a favorite because the movies are just too different. I don't really even consider this to be a sequel, really, since there is no crossover of characters. The first one is more of a horror film, really. The second is an action/adventure/comedy film. They didn't even need to call it Jumanji. They could have just called it Welcome to the Jungle or some such and had the plot about being sucked into a video game and it would have stood on its own. People would have watched simply for the lead adults. Either way, they are both excellent movies in their own right, but this one I would have watched with my kids when they were 9 or 10 and the first one I would not have let them watch until they were at least 12.
I would probably watch the second movie in this series, Jumanji 2:the next level. Even crazier than this one; which you also need to watch to the very end of the credits, because there is an end credit scene in that one, which might even lead to a Jumanji 3…lol
You two just continue to be a-do-ra-ble! It feels less like a reaction video and more like I'm just seeing a couple enjoy a good movie. And Wen's accent is getting so much clearer, good job! And whatever that outfit is, you look ready for the gala (don't worry, Nick, you look great, too)! Edit: "If you get good that fast, it's suspicious". That remark.... I just... savage, man, savage...
Love your reactions. This is a great movie. Yes, Hippos are dangerous. They are territorial, aggressive, and deadly. They kill more people in Africa than any other large animal.
I like this version. If I had grown up with the original I might have a different opinion, but I was never allowed to watch it 😂😂😂😂 Hope y’all watch the next one! It’s very good also!
I did grow up with the original and I thought that this would be a total garbage reboot (like the new Mean Girls will probably be!) but then I finally saw it and I loved this Jumanji! It was a good sequel.
Why wouldn't they remember. The human controls the avatar, meaning humans make the decisions and intimate the action. If the humans are consciously conteoling the avatars , then the humans will remember.
It's surprisingly hard to compare the two films. The overt comedy in this one is great; but the way the threats depend on the dice rolls in the original make them feel less arbitrary than just "completed that level, I wonder what's next". Obviously it's all scripted so in real life there's no difference, but the riddles make it more satisfying in the original. I'm going to go with "depends on my mood" for which I prefer. And "The Next Level" is worth watching, but not as good as the first two.
"Screams and laughter" is there any better combination? This movie is so good. Especially Jack black. He really takes the part of "teenage girl stuck in grown man's body" and roles with it.
Jack Black OWNS his role in this one! 😂👌

This one’s my favorite, esp jack black. The actress that played Ruby (Martha in jumanji) played nebula in guardians of the galaxy/avengers,and I loved that she had some super hero moves here💜
She’s also Amy Pond in Doctor Who

Agreed
This one is my favorite. Also there is one based on a space adventure version Zathura, written by the same writer as Jumanji. Great reaction. Thanks.
You should definitely check out the next one as well! It's just as funny and has a little bit of a more emotional side to it as well.
One of the few times my name is in a movie, and it has to be Jack Black’s character 😂
Jack Black is a national treasure. You guys need to watch School of Rock together and for his more serious side, which is really good, The Holiday
Another favorite JACK BLACK movie is School of Rock
Kang Fu Panda and Gullivers Travels
Or Shallow Hal is hilarious
Another vote for "School of Rock", plus maybe -
"Tenacious D and the Pick of Destiny"

Jack black character is on point I love his character in this movie hahaha
My favorite reaction so far! Thanks for the laughs!
Your reaction was super genuine and adorable, I loved it.
Such a fun reaction!
This movie was so good and I love how they adapted it to modern gaming

Yes, at my school we had to either write essays or complete a labor task in detention, lol.
"I should write this movie" 🤣
Was great to see you both. Thanks!
There's some interviews with various groupings of these guys as part of the promo tour for the 2 flicks. They're great stuff.
these two people are some of the most wholesome on the internet
29:00 Nope. Remember when Allen came out? He was looking for his family. Carl told him what year it is.
well now you need to watch the next level sequel to this
We need a prequel movie of how jumanji was created

Nebula from MCU is with The Rock,Jack Black and Kewin Hart.Favourite Jumanji movie right here.
Jumanji 2 Welcome to the jungle was awesome 😎
