How To Install Phoenix OS From ISO File On USB Stick To The Same Drive As Windows 10 Dual Boot UEFI In this video I will be showing you how to install Phoenix OS on the same hard drive as Windows 10. This will result in a dual boot system, dual boot meaning the ability to choose two different partitions to boot from when switching on your PC computer. In this instance the dual boot will be to two operating systems, Phoenix OS and Windows 10. You can of course dual boot Phoenix OS with Windows 10 by using the Phoenix OS Windows 10 installer, this is an installation that I will also be making a video about but this video is dealing with dual booting from separate boot loaders. As just mentioned, this particular method keeps the two operating systems completely isolated on the same drive and computer PC. This is important as it means that the installation of Phoenix OS does not interfere with the boot loader or boot configuration file of Windows 10. This is especially important as it means that neither operating system can effect each others' boot loaders. Again, this is very important as it helps to protect your Windows 10 install, data, partition scheme, boot loader and boot configuration from corruption, deletion and any general interference from the installation of Phoenix OS. This installation type is very similar to dual booting Phoenix OS and Windows 10 from separate drives in the same PC but in this instance the separation is via partitions and not separate hard drives. I will also be doing a tutorial on how to install Phoenix OS on to a separate hard drive and not the same hard drive as Windows 10. This is almost identical to this method but requires a separate drive and is unarguably safer for protecting your Windows 10 installation as it does not require any alterations of the hard drive that Windows 10 is installed on. This method is also using my system in UEFI mode with a GPT structured hard drive. This is not Legacy and MBR, although this guide may help toward a legacy MBR install. With a few extra tweaks using Phoenix OS DarkMatter you can also play Call Of Duty Mobile. I'll be doing some tutorials soon showing how to install Phoenix OS DarkMatter. Don't forget, Phoenix OS and similar Android on PC operating systems are all based on Android-X86. Wow, this was a total light in the dark for me, since I was doing it all wrong! It finally worked after I followed this step by step! Thank you, mister! Much appreciated! 💜
I like your video because you explained everything. I will be trying to do this on my own computer. A previous computer was windows and android and had icons on both for me to switch back and forth. The only reason I don't still have it is that windows crashed it due to constant updates. The only improvement I would like to see is adding the icons. Your video work is good alone with your overlays, you must have spent a lot of time making this video.
The only vid where everything is well explained. Thanks 👍 a lot Mr. Harry. Thank you very much and may The Lord provide you with health and wisdom like the one I just come across of.
well explained but there is an exe format of the Phoenix OS. U can just install it on Windows, and it appears a Phoenix OS icon on desktop, u can just clickt on it. It makes automatically rebooting and opening Phoenix OS. Otherwise u can start ur computer and it ll ask u on boot menu, which OS u want to start, Wİndows or Phoneix OS, then u select it there. I use this exe format of Phoenix OS. It is really life saver.
Hi. Yes, the windows installer version is way easier, I’ve also done a tutorial about that one. However, this tutorial shows how to dual boot with a different OS on the drive and not Windows. This tutorial also works for a drive without Windows, or if you want to install without touching your Windows boot loader, which the .exe does. Cheers, Dave.
Thank u man sooooooooooooo........ Much u doen it it working perfectly No wifi problem No bright ness problem But change u r phoenix os iso image link it is not working Thanks A Lot🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Hey your tutorial was helpful, do you know if it is possible to save things in the live version of Phoenix OS when running directly from the USB stick? Every time i reboot i have to create a new account
Hi. I’m not too familiar with running it live, so can’t really help. However, you can install to a USB stick and have it be treated in the same way as an internal drive installation and be able to save and install apps and settings etc. Cheers, Dave.
Hi David, thank you so much for the guide. I am currently trying to set up a triple boot with Mac OS, Windows 10 and Phoenix OS on a Macbook 15 2013 late model. I've dual boot set up with Boot Camp. I tried installing Phoenix OS with easy method and it installed perfectly, fully functional with the laptop dual booting Windows 10 and Phoenix OS starting with a GRUB loader (I believe that is correct terminology) as if it was a Windows laptop. However, I noticed once I loaded Mac OS from Boot Camp Assistant in Windows 10, I could no longer boot into my Phoenix OS as the laptop defaults to loading the built in bootloader which does not show Phoenix OS as an option. Now, I understand that I can re-partition the drive, install rEFInd, and install Phoenix OS via USB to be able to achieve what I am trying to achieve. The only question I have is would the installation method you have here work just fine through rEFInd as I am trying? Is there anything I need to change i.e. filesystem/EFI storage/Partition Scheme? Would really appreciate response. Many thanks in advance, Jay
Hey there, I had installed PheonixOS and after it was installed, I clicked reboot. After a reboot, It came to a black screen where it said "GRUB" along with a blinking dash. Its just stuck there and nothing is appearing. Please guide me. Thanks in advance
Sir in video here the step of -8:32 ... I accidentally chossen to install grub so ... Now i have only phonex os to boot can you tell me how can i boot into windows again??
If you go into the your computer’s BIOS you should be able to select your boot order. This should show your bootable partitions and you can prioritise Windows from there. You should be able to do the same from your boot key. This all assumes that you have not damaged your Windows partitions. Cheers, Dave.
