I knew him since he was a kid Nigerian father and Norwegian mother.
He was alright but our team will get a decent wake up call when we face real opponents again. We're just not good enough, with or without Haaland.
We are good enough if Solbakken actually could use the best players, like Nusa, Oscar Bobb, Sahraoui, Strand Larsen and the guys he used from U21 instead of those with a free ticket every time there is a qualifier. We could have beaten Georgia, Scotland and even Spain away with these guys included. Its all Solbakkens fault and he decides to let his son play and doesnt even make a call in for Oscar Bobb who is at Manchester City. No wonder Norway never succeed. One hopeless manager after the other…always with excuses… He says Oscar Bobb needs to play regurarly at his club to get a chance (even though he trains with the best in the world and also has been getting some minutes), at the same time he uses several players who sits on the bench for way poorer teams. There is no logic behind some of his choices. There are some other guys on U21 who should also be given a chance.
@@In_my_own_mindBobb has little first team experience, so I think thats the explanation. Reserve team football is nothing compared to first team football. Agree with everything else though. Nusa could really go right into the team. Same with Sahraoui. I dont think they are better than Aursnes, but Ola Solbakken and Berge should fear for their positions now. I think Østigård needs to get more playtime at Napoli before he plays on the national team and Strandberg is getting too old.
Well, with such a weak team Norway really needs to start building a team for the future. Was little hope for Norway in this qualification in the get go, but norwegian googles mad it seem so. To little experience and not enough matchmaking, in a team as a whole, make you loose close matches like vs Scotland. Ola Solbakken, Sørloth, Elyounoussi aren`t true wingers, so we might as well use the young ones who has the playstyle to fit in that position. @@tangbein
Our big problem is the defence. We just dont have top defenders and goalkeeper. I was nervous every time they passed the ball in the backline, and Nyland was shaky as hell, didnt know when to stay in the goal and when to run out. The defence is a mess.
