- Santa brought my daughter a new keyboard for Christmas.
Rather than buying a keyboard stand, she and I sat down and designed this beauty for her to learn on. It is awesome teaching her not just piano but woodworking and design.

I like the African music in the background.
It's Dirtwire, they are awesome. Saw them live and asked if I could use their music. They have an awesome African techno vibe that is very much my language.
Pinus Radiata (Monterey Pine) is a species. The rotating process is how the veneers are shaved off the logs to then be layered to make the plywood.
You're a beast with the facts. Why do they have pine plywood and radiata pine plywood?
Because radiata is a specific species. Pine being a general term for many different types of conifer but not all types. It’s a northern American species we grow it in Australia for wood pulping. Not that any of this really matters to the piece of wood you’re cutting up.
@@granthamilton2892 oh I know, but I'm curious now. So is it called out specifically for certain uses? Or is it the grain pattern? Or color? It's just weird that normally they call everything from spruce to hybrid wood, pine but suddenly radiata is a fancy species.
You’ve got me there though my guess would be something to do with it’s roundness. In this part of the world it’s anything but fancy, quite the opposite.
