Throne & Liberty combat is fun as hell now. Just played the new free expansion on KR. The ability overhaul that lets you modify all your spells and change what they do to customize you build is amazing, the removed inertia from character movement so when you change directions it's instant now. The movement basically feels like wow now compared to before where you character had to slow down and turn around when you'd A, D, A, D strafe back and forth. The camera smoothing is also gone (unless you liked the input delay, it still has an option to turn it back on) so the camera feels way better now too. But the main thing is the ability overhaul and customization. It completely changed the game for combat. And you can start using the ability mods at the beginning of the game so you don't have to wait for endgame for the combat to get good. NCSoft actually made some really good decisions leading up to NA launch. We're getting the best version on launch day where Korea basically had to be a 10 month beta for us.
Throne and Liberty recently had an expansion in Korea and alongside it was some pretty big updates to combat. Supposedly, the delay in the west was so those changes could be in for our launch, though not any of the new PvE content.
Remnant 2's last DLC is going to release this month too, would highly recommend that game in general. You get a lot of game for like 25 bucks when you pick up a deluxe key.
You used to be called Force Strategy and never played the original Age of Mythology? This upcoming version isn't a new game, it's sort of a remaster/retooled version.
That's the best part about FF games, there's no need to play previous games because they have, like, nothing common between them. Unless it's like FFX, X-2, ect.
I never prayed for a games' success more than for Frostpunk 2. The first game was such a masterpiece, so I'm scared they can't capture the magic again.

New World still getting updates is pretty crazy. The game had some serious late game issues and i was pretty certain it was going to die. I also burned out on it as i was grinding hard to get various crafts up to max, as everybody in the guild wanted storage chests. I have rarely ever experienced a more painful grind for highlevel crafting in an MMO and i have played a lot of them.
Bought the base game on Steam for 13.41£ last year, was on the shelf for a while. Recently sunk in 100hrs. A Fun relaxing game. Crafting is a mission though 😮

They are release a very large patch for the base game (on the same day) that’s overhauling pretty much everything except how you upgrade gear which they reworked in Season 4. It’s like a 40-50gig update. Totally gonna jump in and check it out
I bought D4 at 50% and played S4 which was okay but not amazing, VoH releases close to PoE2 early access so I'll be playing that instead and get VoH when it drops at 50% discount. S5 is most probably going to be a shitshow anyway considering the history of recent blizzard game design and how many things they changed at the same time. I've been watching interviews of PoE2 game designers and when you compare this to interviews of D4 developers it's night and day
I’m a huge throne and liberty fan. I got into the closed beta, played the open beta and I also played the Korean version and I absolutely agree that the combat in the closed and open betas was not the greatest but imo the features they are adding from the Korean version to the global release (the reason for the delay) make the class system have a lot more depth and a lot more enjoyable so I hope you give it a shot and enjoy it more than you think you will. Love the videos though man keep up the great work 🙏🔥

This is what AAA is meant to be 👍😀 Vanguard is epic and you can get lost in focusing in your role, assisting your team by taking out elites and constantly healing you and your team’s health with perks! I want to run Heavy or Bulwark, however Tactical marines call to me quite a bit at the start!

Loved the original Age of Mythology, I might pick this up because Coop RTS games haven't been worth a darn since Supreme Commander and the 90's before that. EA needs to remake Lord Of the Rings 2 Rise of the Witch King.
When it comes to New World, as I've said before, I think the game would be more fun if the world just wiped and reset. I've played it to end game, got bored and quit, rejoined when they did the "new start" servers, played till the end game and got bored again and quit. The PVP balance wasn't great, the wars were too easy, and often times lopsided, the defense were kind of boring after a while. The endgame just falls apart, and I think the majority of the people end up like me, bored and stop playing. As someone that has played MMO's for 20+ years I used to try and give my advise on the forums, but they dont care. They even banned me off the forums for making too many post about the bot problems, where I was tracking the age of the accounts, locations they used, and how to fix it. I guess they didnt like all the proof I had that the same bot accounts had been on the server for months, and were still not banned.

Age of Mythology is NOT a new game. It is remastered, with some QoL and other stuff to make it more modern. The original Age of Mythology launched in 2002.
Steams winter sale is right around the corner. Makes it really hard for me to buy brand new games this time of year when I can buy a bunch of great games from a couple years ago for the same price as buying one new one.

Its in the faq. You can hide most of the ui. I think ammo and life are the only things that will fade in when in combat if you disable everything else.
New world’s first months of release were so fun but they fumbled so hard. I hope the “re-release” is half as fun as the initial one now that most of the issues are fixed.

I wanna see an ANTHEM 2. That game had SO MUCH potential and super fun vibes when you were just flying around with or without friends and exploring. So sad it ended up being a half-assed dead end game that got abandoned. The company owes us a GOOD sequel. Hell - I'd even take an apology reboot with an expanded campaign/map, etc.

the new world closed beta for console was completely atrocious because the game feels like it just plays on a massive delay

They even banned me off the forums for making too many post about the bot problems, where I was tracking the age of the accounts, locations they used, and how to fix it. I guess they didnt like all the proof I had that the same bot accounts had been on the server for months, and were still not banned.

Regarding throne and liberty; the combat has been completely revamped. It is a completely different experience now.

Age of Mythology is NOT a new game. It is remastered, with some QoL and other stuff to make it more modern. The original Age of Mythology launched in 2002.

Its in the faq. You can hide most of the ui. I think ammo and life are the only things that will fade in when in combat if you disable everything else.

Don't forget that GOW Ragnarok on PC is PSN lock on some countries. Another single player game that is locked via PSN sucks.

I wanna see an ANTHEM 2. That game had SO MUCH potential and super fun vibes when you were just flying around with or without friends and exploring. So sad it ended up being a half-assed dead end game that got abandoned. The company owes us a GOOD sequel. Hell - I'd even take an apology reboot with an expanded campaign/map, etc.
