Probably the BEST Pairing of another, Contemporary Composer with Satie's gorgeous miniatures! And of course - Pascal Roge / Piano ...Absolute PERFECTION!
They don't play Satie's works very quickly. It's slow, deliberate & this person KNOWS what they're playing. So deliberate and dreamlike. Such a stunning, yearning version. Thank you for sharing.
ouyea , its like the pianist make a intimate travel using the pieces as places of the dream; creates a crystal and bring to you to see it when listening. -_- or so I think, from the name of the album
I've been listening to Satie's piano music and now with Yoshimatsu and it transports the raw harshness that this country (the U.S.) and the world have been hurling at the public. Peace.

by far my favorite rendition of satie's pieces, and pleiades dances are amazing as well
me too !
It is as if I spiritually spin the worlds of satie and yoshimatsu, instead of understanding the pieces separately (as usual)
I love that cover art.
