I beg to differ ,first wd 40 is to be used on metal parts & not on rubber,it's ment to displace water & rust &, for lubricating rubber one must use silicon spray.Please see the instructions on the wd40 bottle,no where it's mentioned that it can be used on rubber parts.Correct me if I am wrong.Regards
You are absolutely right.

Not Silicone either. NOT WD40 either. Lubricant for the purposes of softening rubber parts. Even drained old oil is a better option and at no expense.
WD40 means it a " Water Displacement solution - the 40th. test by the US army to "displace" the moisture on their Arms.

WD40 lubricant is not recommended for rubber parts as it will reduce the life of rubber. However, it is safe for metal moving parts. For rubber only use silicone oil spray.

बहोत अच्छे तरीके से आपने WD 40 का इस्तेमाल दिखाया,कुछ पॉइंट ऐसे जो आम लोगो समझ मे नही आते,जैसे एक पर्सन अंदर बैठकर क्लच व ब्रेक पे पैर रखे ताकि उस पार्ट्स पे भी अच्छी ग्रीसिंग हो जाये कुल मिलाकर आपका वीडियो पसन्द आया । धन्यवाद

Wd40 को यदि बेरिंग में लग जाए तो बेरिंग खराब हो जाते हैं कृपया ध्यान रखें बेरिंग में लगे या नहीं चाहिए

This kind of lubrication may be useful for some lowest grade cars but not suitable for Japanese American or German made cars because of their build quality

Avoid over use that's what I want to point out. Yes it's ok but only for metal parts and all not for rubber. Basically it's a cleaning component. After applying clean it once and then apply recomend Ed graded grease wherever applicable.
