    So, what's up with these videos? Well, in effort to share our experiences with you (and remember them for ourselves), we started a Playlist called, "Oh, The Places We've Been." These are quick town or area reviews based on our experience as a family. They definitely don't cover everything and won't appeal to everyone! Hope you find them helpful.

    I visit Pinedale often while on my way to Yellowstone. While visiting the town park with my kids a neighbor asked if my kids wanted to see deer? His back yard bordered the park. Inside the fenced back yard were 3 deer bedded down for the day. They were oblivious to us watching. The gentleman said he spent summers there. Local kids often wakeboard on the river with a rope hanging over the river next to the park. The local museum is a must see. The visitor center is very helpful.

    Pinedale is my lifelong favorite place to be. As a young boy, I had an uncle who lived in Pinedale and worked in the oil fields. Every summer we go to Pindale and spend the week fond memories from back in the 1950s.

      My family's legacy is the Patio Grill. It's now a Mexican restaurant but my grandparents were the owners while it was an American diner and still own the property.

    I went to Pinedale when I was 14, I’m 31 now so 17 years ago. So amazing! It was so small back then and nothing but bars and 1 store. They had an amazing restaurant and first drive thru liquor store I’ve ever seen. My buddies family lives in Pinedale and a town right on the outskirts on a ranch. Soooo beautiful! I went to the park there in Pinedale and carved my initials on the wooden picnic table and tree at the parkIt’s all in walking distance. We snuck on the school football field when we got into town the first few hours and they had 7 Mule Deer 🦌 on the field just grazing and didn’t even move when we went out there. Just walked away but didn’t run like you see in the city if you approach one around here in Memphis, TN/Southaven, Mississippi

      Yeah the town has grown a lot. My family is from there and owned a restaurant since the 50s. Seems like everyone goes to Yellowstone every other way than through Pinedale. Definitely still a best kept secret kind of place.

    Pinedale still gets more sunny days in the winter than in Michigan. I think I can handle the snow

    Love Pinedale! As you mentioned housing has skyrocketed and now unaffordable for your average income. Sad truth, but one can afford by camping here for a few weeks every summer. Nice place to visit.

    So I’m curious if you’re still out traveling and how it’s going if you are?

    Pinedale is a beautiful area but cold in the winter.

    So all things considered, what do you think is the best place to live in Wyoming?

  • @don_sharon
    @don_sharon 2 месяца назад

    Low level of diversity? You just took over 6 minutes to talk about how diverse this area is. Like you, we think this place is perfect. Not sure what else you're looking for. If you're looking for all a big city has to offer, you need to go elsewhere. The only downside is the increasing number of people visiting and moving here post-Covid that want to bring their idea of paradise or home to this part of Wyoming.

      Not looking for anything. I agree it's perfect. My family has been in Pinedale for generations. 👍
